Why wish anyone was shot and killed? Personnally I would wish that none of them were shot and killed.

Me too. However, in an either/or situation, I'd prefer to see the officer alive and the perps on cent's "victims" list. Do you agree?

The "perps" on the Washington Posts list are all cops.  That's the point of the list. Note:  "KILLED by Police"!!!

788 people have been shot and killed by police in 2018

Well, you are about to get another killer to feel sorry for on your "victims" list since Maynard is dead.

The Washington Posts list will continue.  I sure wish he was alive to face the justice system.

Too bad this Vietnam Vet was killed carelessly by the police.  He'll be on the Washington Posts list as well.....

Beautiful - take a topic about the murder of a police officer and try to convert it to "Bad cop, bad cop" by finding a very, very rare instance of inappropriate shooting by the police. Now you're starting to understand.  It's not as rare as you falsely claim.  MANY of unnecessary killings each year.  Understand what? In this case it was a horrible, tragic accident in the middle of a very confusing situation. "Confusing" when the police screwed up the situation.....that's the point.  What's rare is when a police officer is killed.....But to you,....just another reason to be a cop apologist....

Aurora police, who described the scene in a statement as "very chaotic and violent," said they encountered an armed man and fatally shot him.

And again, leave it to you to take a topic about a murdered cop and try to twist it to another of your "Bad cop, bad cop" stories. Considering the circumstances it was a tragic accident and I think "confusing" in not an inappropriate word to use.

Looking at everything as an either/or situation is a very wishy/washy cop out.

It's also indicative of those with not much intellectual depth and is quite common with Fox viewers..

As always, when logic fails - whip out Fox or Limbaugh or giggle.

Because some are just scum (police killers) and deserve to get shot and killed before they kill someone else.

Do you also think that police officers that exceed their authority and commit illegal acts should be shot and killed or should they get a trial first?

in the specific instance under discussion would you not prefer to see the perps on the "victims" list instead of a dead police officer??

I would prefer that neither side was on a "victims" list. Wouldn't you?

I sure would, and that's the point of every topic posted about the Wahington Post's database.  But "some", just don't get it.  Why?  because it isn't an either/or situation.  It's, "can we do better"?  Of course we can.....

Do you know if they were legally in possession of the guns they used to murder the police officer? If not, additional laws would not help.
