garyhahn--Thank you for your post.  For those who may not know, an increase of  a 2 degree rise in temperature on this planet is considered the tipping point--the point of no return.

Cent--thank you for your question.  I am also unclear as to the trillion, unless it has to do with carbon dioxide??  Guess, we will have to wait for Gary's reply.

Welcome to the forum, Gary.  I hope you post often here and share your views eventhough it can get pretty partisan here.  Hang in there.

 

Can you expand on the "two main numbers"?  I haven't forgotten them yet, and think I understand the 2 degree's, but am uncertain as to the 1 trillion.

President Trump's recent decision to reject the Paris Accord is dangerous for our nation and Planet. I have been involved in carbon-related industries in coal (regulated coal industry for 11 years) and forestry (BS in forestry). Two main numbers to remember are 1 trillion and 2 degrees!
