Nope! Went because he wanted to see a sitting president, even though he didn’t agree with his agenda. According to a story in the NYT, the young man was told by trump staffers that he had been chosen to sit in the VIP section, a decision which seems to have been made at random. Speech goers were told they were to clap and cheer for trump, but clearly this young man had much more integrity than some of the puppets in the crowd. Further, he had no idea he was on camera until his friends started texting him mid way through the speech.
The trump people said they vet people who are to stand behind the president, but seems they are as inept at their jobs as trump is at his! The kid was wearing a pin that said Socialist Democrat.
This kid was not there under “false pretenses.” That honor goes to the donald as “the plaid guy’s” reactions indicate. Watching him react to trump’s lies, exaggerations, whacked out statements, and inaccuracies was priceless. Once his two friends realized he wasn’t coming back, they left too.
BTW, the girl who replaced them really was a trump fan as she immediately flashed a white power sign. Yeah, trump attracts the best of the worst that society has to offer.

There was much conjecture in that about the kid. But I agree, a guy wearing a Socialist Democrat button didn't belong in that position.
Now, about that white power sign - that was the same claim that was made about the Judge Kavanaugh hearings. You lefties see (or create) racism everywhere. But, hey, it's part of your marching orders.
