As ususal, NH is not in touch with the facts. The economic conditions were very different. When Obama took office, we were at the beginning of the worst global recession of our lives. It took several years to work our way out of that severe recession. It was a remarkable recovery and the Feds did not want to put the brakes on it by raising rates.

The facts are the Fed had 1 increase in the rate during Obama (8 years) justifying a growing stock market and during the first 2 years of Trump's tenure we had 8 Fed increases.  That, my friend are FACTS.  As usual, you ignore facts in favor of your Obama/Hillary cult.

Yes they are some of the facts, but when you know the full subject you can place and use the facts to solve problems, and that is what Obama did as we all see in the economy we have had due to him. That is now changing and not for the better. Once again we can all see what the experts have told us about the far right enablers is true.

CriticalThinking:  In Trump World, anything which goes wrong is NEVER his fault. There's always a scapegoat, usually Hillary or Obama, but this time it's the Fed Chairman.

Yep, but what's an incompetent nincompoop to do now that his blundering is beginning to come home to roost? Not to worry though, maybe Mulvaney has a few spare hours to run the Fed.

Now Trump wants to fire the Fed Chairman

The bottom line in Trump World is they NEVER hold their Supreme Leader accountable or responsible for anything negative. It's always somebody else's fault. That's why it's a cult.

For those living in the real world, we know why inflation is rising rapidly.

Trump is doing here what he has done to the JD, Supreme Court, military, our system of laws. He wants to control every thing and policy the Fed. govt. is involved with. That is what all dictators do, and he is aiming for that. Go read how Hitler came to power in Germany.

So what is your point? Is the Fed now part of the fictitious "Deep State" that is "out to get" trump?  ROFLMAO !!!   There are actual economic reasons that rates weren't hiked during Obama's years, just as there are economic reasons for raising them now.  But then economics escapes most trump supporters and the sources they use.

This is part of the mindset which dominates Trump World. I'm going to say this again, please remember it.

Trump is full of hot air and he knows it.    He has no authority to fire anyone at the Federal Reserve.    IMO, he is looking for anyone to direct his ire to avoid taking any responsibility for the Wall Street melt down because of his shutdown demand.

His myriad of private loans - the cost to him will go up if the interest rates on his loans increase.    So, he is not worried about the US economy or trade negotiations, he is only focused on his own personal financial issues.
