Man convicted in Charlottesville attack asks for "mercy" - Houston Chronicle 

 

He cut a deal by pleading guilty to dozens of charges including Federal Hate Crimes in order to avoid the death penalty - and now he wants to avoid a life sentence?

 

He has shown no remorse whatsoever.

 

He's mentally ill - whether he can be "cured" is questionable - and may never be safe to be released into society.
