And now we have the modern Dems looking to get rid of our  borders (one worlders?).

Build a strawman and expect others to debate it. Truth is .............. the Dems are not "looking to get rid of our borders", or anyone else's.

Of course they are. A border that is not enforced is not a valid border. When pols keep finding new ways to allow non citizens in, they are effectively removing the borders.

Now what you say is not true by fact. We have 50 States and they all have borders which are not enforced. We drive from one state to another all the time and no one checks us. I just got back from a trip covering 3 states and was never checked at a border. I cross the border of 2 states very often and no checks. They are real borders as taxes and laws change in each one. You can buy pot in some, and booze laws can be different. Our right wing has a lot to learn.

An American is free to move from State to State. However, those with the one world view see the same right from country to country.

Prump/Tutin are delighted by trump cultist vile, ugly, coded, jingoististic, xenophobic racist stuff...

It does not take Fox or talk radio to know that the Dems supported physical barriers in the past but have now reversed their position.

"Physical barriers" takes in a lot of territory.  The Dems supported fencing as part of a unified package of border control financing. It included increased wages for border security forces, better facilities at border crossings (where all the drugs come across), and better tunnel detection technologies.

Trump has been negotiating to the bottom (how low can he go?) for some time. He passed on those measures. Then he passed on $5Billion to build a wall. Then, he closed the government and opened it again for $500M less than what he had agreed to before the shutdown.

Bragging about how Trump keeps passing up one offer in order to take a worse one is hardly something the Conservatives should be doing.  But then, they have a weird definition of winning.

BTW, when should we expect that check from Mexico?

Yes, and the President's request for barrier funding was also part of a unified package.

What "bragging" are you talking about?

It's more a matter of not supporting Putin's agent/operative in wasting billions for something that won't work and will end up being a waste of money.

Who has spoken out against enforcing a border?

All the Dems.

Names please and the specific quotation. I have never heard or read of any Democrat speaking out against reasonable border security.

Now there you have it - "reasonable". That is quite a dodge since fences were considered "reasonable" but then that spiked thing was not.
