The New York Times found itself in hot-water over the weekend after publishing an explosive “bombshell” on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh; posting sections of a new book that contained unfounded allegations of sexual abuse during his time in college.

“The New York Times suddenly made a major revision to a supposed bombshell piece late Sunday concerning a resurfaced allegation of sexual assault by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh — hours after virtually all 2020 Democratic presidential candidates had cited the original article as a reason to impeach Kavanaugh,” reports Fox News.

“The update included the significant detail that several friends of the alleged victim said she did not recall the purported sexual assault in question at all. The Times also stated for the first time that the alleged victim refused to be interviewed, and has made no comment about the episode,” adds Fox.

Ya think there is a rush to judgement by the dimm presidential candidates?

Goes to establish poor judgement on their behalf indicating they are not suited for the job of President...

If you read the real story you will find out that once again we see the far right at work trying to change what really takes place. The leaders have to do this just about every day and then the enablers spend a lot of time putting out what they are told. The only problem is that you will find it is never true, and in time the leaders just let it die. Go read my post on this a few before this and you will get the full story.

That is one of the ways a responsible newspaper can be identified. Do they identify the mistakes or omissions and then correct? Even minor ones like this.

Let's see, Fox and Brietbart have done this.......um......never?

Kavanaugh committed sexual assault - an impeachable offence.

Kavanaugh lied in his Senate Testamony - an impeachable offence.

Kavanaugh concealed his deal to do tRumps bidding - an impeachable offence.

The FBI was ordered to ONLY examine what the Senate already knew - a total miscarage of justice.

IMPEACH KAVANAUGH AND THE HORSE'S PATOOT HE RODE IN ON!

Lets bring a little more light on this subject. I have posted the back story on K a number of times. Here it is again. K was approached by a person from Trumps side with the outline of an offer. If Trump got K on the S court would K agree not to oppose anything Thrump wanted. The answer was yes so Trump put him up for the SC. It was during that process all the things things we know about K and sex came out but I have a feeling there was a lot more which we do not know about. Trump got K on the court and so far K has not opposed what Trump wants so the back story holds up to date.

There was one unusual thing that happened during the time K was being vetted for appointment. The sex stories we know about. If you recall there was a Reb. Senator who was not going to vote for K unless their was the demanded FBI background check. Trump agreed to that. When trump put out the request to the FBI for the background check it spelled out that it would only cover what was then known by the Senators from their hearings. The FBI did the report and nothing new was found. Why did Trump restrict the check to what was known by the Senators? Now we know why. If it had been a normal background check it would have included this story as it had been reported to the FBI so would have been fully investigated by the FBI. Now we know why Trump limited the FBI. To keep this story from coming out. Now how many more items like this are there, and we do not know about. This was Trump in action taking over the SC and sure gives more truth to the back story. Just think of all we do not know about what Trump is doing. Dictators work that way.

Kavanaugh like the man who hired him both, belong in prison! Kavanaugh gave an Oscar worthy performance during his testimony. Too bad the entire system is rigged as Klobuchar has pointed out.

NYT Publishes Correction After Leaving Out Exculpatory Evidence From Brett Kavanaugh Story

The New York Times published a correction late Sunday night after leaving out exculpatory evidence in a story about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s time as an undergraduate student at Yale University.

Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly wrote an article in Sunday’s paper drawing from their new book, “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.”

“A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his **bleep** into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly,” Pogrebin and Kelly wrote in the story’s original version, adding that they “corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier.”

The article left out a crucial fact that was included in the book: The alleged victim reportedly has no recollection of the incident in question. The woman “refused to discuss the incident” with the authors, and “several of her friends said she does not recall it,” Pogrebin and Kelly wrote in the book.

The Times published the correction after facing a backlash for the omission.

“An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his **bleep** into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article,” reads an editor’s note tacked onto the bottom of the story.

The story now includes the line: “the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say she does not recall the episode.”

National Review’s John McCormack described the Times’ omission as one of the “worst cases of journalistic malpractice that I can recall.”

Pogrebin and Kelly didn’t immediately return emails inquiring why they left out the exculpatory evidence from the original article.

Democrats seized on the Times article to call for Kavanaugh’s impeachment. Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, California’s junior senator, tweeted Kavanaugh’s “place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

“Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him,” Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, also a 2020 candidate, wrote on TwitterSunday. “Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached.”

Pogrebin and Kelly also rehashed a previous accusation from Debbie Ramirez, one of Kavanaugh’s former classmates at Yale, who accused Kavanaugh of drunkenly displaying his **bleep** in her face at a party.

Pogrebin and Kelly’s essay didn’t mention that their Times colleagues reportedduring Kavanaugh’s confirmation in 2018 that Ramirez “could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself” to her.

I am not sure why anyone believes anything published in the NYT anymore.  They outed themselves during the 2016 Presidential campaign and have proved themselves to be an extension of the democrat party.

The democrats' largest PACT known as leftwing radical media, owned and operated by the Progressive Movement, hellbent on indoctrinating American citizens with their narritive that socialism, is the desired path forward...  Well not for this citizen!

SICK SICK SICK!!
