The Times is not the legal determining factor for the Dossier. I heard today that Steele and the report drew a favorable review from the DOJ panel interviewing Steele... a little reversal of expectations here?!

Fact is the FBI was investigating Cadet Bonespurs for his extensive financial indebtedness to Russia long BEFORE they got the Steele Dossier which PROVED lil' donny was totally in bed with the Russian Government, Mob and Oligarchs (often the same people).

Now the GOPerLords have ordered their minions to cry FOUL because the only way to keep their ToadPOTUS out of jail is to get the hard evidence of his treason and obstruction of Justice tossed out of court on a fabricated technicality.

Justice Dept. Watchdog Is Preparing to Deliver Verdict on the Russia Investigation

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/09/us/politics/ig-russia-investigation-steele.html

A stunning new report from the New York Times published Tuesday reveals the surprising timeline of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign; showing the bureau relied on the Steele Dossier to obtain FISA warrants against political insider Carter Page.

“In August 2016, a month before agents on the Russia investigation received the Steele dossier, they had already started discussions with the Justice Department about seeking a wiretap order targeting Mr. Page, according to people familiar with the investigation’s timeline,” reports the New York Times.

“Still, the arrival of the dossier in September kicked the deliberations over whether to seek a wiretap order into a higher gear, according to people familiar with the Russia investigation. By adding further weight to their reasons to be suspicious of Mr. Page, Mr. Steele’s information helped officials overcome bureaucratic reluctance stemming from fears that any leak of the existence of such a wiretap would be politically radioactive,” adds the article.

“Agents sought a warrant, mentioning in their application a claim from the dossier: One of Mr. Steele’s sources said that when Mr. Page was in Russia that July, he had supposedly met with the Kremlin-linked president of an energy firm and discussed energy cooperation between the United States and Russia and the prospects of lifting Western sanctions against the Kremlin related to its incursions in Ukraine,” concludes the report.

We see this line taken by Trump and the enablers for the last year or so now. It never sticks but they push it every week.

Well if you read Michael Wolf new book he covers why. It was started by Shawn who gathered a lot of small stories that on their own were true, and put them together become one big untruth, but the Trump followers think they are true and get all excited about them and will really try and push them. The leaders love it so they keep the unknowing pushing the untrue total posts. Now who says they are untrue. Steve Bannon. He called them nonsense for the faithful. Go read the book and you will get a good laugh at how the leaders use the enablers, and yes they prove the experts correct every day.
