Trying to use the time machine to drag Clinton into the discussion again?

News alert! trump is president, not Clinton. Then again, we could protest the shoddy construction of Chrysler K cars, and why Detroit wasn’t building better vehicles. Then again, Obama help save the auto industry and jobs, then Detroit began building good vehicles. Good things do happen sometimes...like NFL players being able to use their right of free speech and peaceful protest.

If a poster wants to assign some standard of conduct to a President, he/she/it is applying it to PRESIDENTS. Otherwise that poster would be accused of bias.

Now that free speech jazz. The playing field is a work place and as such the owners can assign workplace standards. Example, do you think a store owner has the right to demand his employees do not use the dreaded "N-word" when talking to black customers?

And so what gives you the idea that it is any of the president’s business as to how any employee ( outside of those connected to the White House) conducts his or her self within the confines of the work place?   The moron in the White House would do better concentrating on mending all the problems he has created across this country, rather than trying to stir up more racism, and spreading more lies by mouthing off about the NFL players who are doing nothing wrong,  but rather, calling attention to the inequity with regard to race that Has grown Exponentially since the racist, Sociopathic, dictator wanna be took office.

It seems especially easy for the moron’s

cultists to defend abhorrent behavior, perhaps because they themselves are as equally abhorrent  as is he. But for the rest of us who still deal in reality and have managed to maintain sanity, it is clear that this is  merely a divisive tactic on the idiot in chief’s part to cause further division within this country, as well as another diversion that draws attention away from the fact that each day he weakens our Constitution and takes away our civil and human rights. There is not a man in the White House – – there is a sociopathic animal.

Gee, I miss having a real president!

I would seldom drag Clinton or Reagan into the discussion, others continue to keep bringing them up to make some sort of outdated unusable comparison.

And how is an employee making an out and out racist comment calling an African American the “n” word, compare with NFL players engaging in a peaceful protest statement?

Racist slurs versus free speech??

Not a employment issue.

Nope! It’s not about showboating. It’s about our Constitutional rights and Freedom of Speach.

And trump doesn’t like any person of color having the right to speak out or speak their mind.

Now there is an instance of the racism of the left - seeing everything through the prism of race.

Now THERE is an attempt to evade from the racism "of the right" - refusing to see the obvious.

Now there is some more racism of the left - refusing to see it or seeing it and refusing to admit it.

I have not heard of the President saying that only white football players should be allowed to insult the symbols of our nation.

Because no such argument was ever advanced.

Then race is not a factor except to the left that sees everything in racial terms.

Can you show otherwise?

No need to show anything for something that was never stated.

Was "person of color" not there?

Or must you accept the error in your ways?

Actually, the "error" is with your employment of straw man arguments ..... "your way" to contrive statements that another poster never made!

Was race not placed in the discussion - and not by me?

There are many reasons Der Trumper goes batsqwat at the peaceful protests by the NFL. Here's just a few:

1. Trump is a racist and the players are protesting racism, so he takes it personal.

2. Trump is a gutless draft-dodging preppytwit, so he claims protests disrespect the flag he refused to defend hoping that will somehow make up for his cowardice.

3. There are a bunch of NFL players who really are 6'3" and weigh 230, and that orange blob of pustular fat hates them for making his lie so obvious.

4. The NFL considered Trump a total fraudster and refused to let him have a franchise.

5. Trump thinks by defending Nazis and killer cops he will appeal to his base base, and he does.

Such racist and hate filled garbage.

The truth is much simpler - as the American President he does not like to see the symbols of our nation offended by this sort of show-boating.

That is a worn-out comment.  It is as valid to do so as a poster who keeps dragging out Ronald Reagan.  And it only used because the poster who uses it knows that there is no argument about any other President is valid.

So that means you can't be original and come up with any other points to debate.

Wasn't there another President who managed to avoid the draft by many skillful maneveurs until he was safe from being drafted?

Yup .... Bush.

Wasn't that President a Democrat who when elected became somewhat of a warhawk?

No .... he was a Republican.

I recall his Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense got 'blasted' out of a town hall attempting to drum up support for more and escalated attacks on Iraq.

Actually, he INVADED Iraq ....  and under false pretenses!
