First of all, "have strung our that concentra wire" makes no sense.

Second, "Concentra" wire is really CONCERTINA wire.

As to who would have strung the wire, who erected the existing walls, wire, and barriers that presently are on the border?

Every fellow Vet that I talk to, thinks that troops at the border are a waste of our tax dollars, a waste of active duty forces, and a generator of dissatisfaction among those there.

Just for a political statement by the worst COMMANDER IN CHIEF ever to have had that title.

How it's spelled has no bearing on the issue.  Ever pulled it yourself?  Razor sharp and tore up a many good gloves in repairing the perimeter.  I don't believe that there was 'CONCERTINA wire' on most areas of the border before these troops stretched it out.

Not sure about your "fellow" vets experience, but it's not up to them whether its a waste of tax dollars, etc.  They're not the ones making decisions.  Looks like the President made a good decision in reinforcing the border...i.e. last weekend.

Besides immigration has nothing to do about the military involvement....is there a reason you keep posting about it?

No, actually only blind fools would define what those in the caravan are doing as "invading and a plan to destroy this country".

You are the only one here continually posting about volleyball games and the military building camps for themselves.  So, can you see those volleyball games from your home?  There's nothing in the media about that, but there is plenty about those from the engineer corps stringing concertina wire and placing barriers on the border.

As far as them building camps or erecting tents for themselves, nothing they wouldn't be doing in field training.  Yes Trump has been warning about the caravans heading for the border, but didn't he also take action to prepare for them by having troops erecting obstacles?  Wasn't you among those objecting to those troops being sent there?

Maybe you just like to complain about the administration?

Honestly, did you even read the article ?

A waste of our tax money. Retired Generals have said so. Retired Admirals have said so.

I say so, as do my fellow VETERAN FRIENDS and ACQUAINTANCES.

Leaders on the ground are saying the this is good practical experience for the troops; experience they wouldn't be getting from field training.  These troops are combat engineers and are doing the same thing they would be doing in combat zones.

I don't seem to recall where retired Generals and Admirals have any authority in saying much about active duty operations.  Most spend their time as talking heads on CNN or FOX.  Neither Veterans nor acquaintenances either.  They have access to ops plans for deployments such as this?

If not for these troops being deployed who would you suggest to have strung our that concentra wire and put up barriers?

Calm down, there is no INVASION.

Only in the mind of an incompetent COMMANDER IN CHIEF and those that have, for some unknown reason, become believers in his rhetoric, does the inappropriate word INVASION exist.

Here's a couple of definitions:

(1) An incursion of an army for conquest or plunder.

(2) When one country's force goes into another country to take control of it by force.

These are mostly kids, women, and families FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!

THERE'S NO INVASION.

As their deployment gets extended, TRUMP will lose more and more support amongst the troops.

He has already lost the support of MILITARY WOMEN, OFFICERS, and soon to lose the support of MINORITIES in the MILITARY.

An incompetent COMMANDER IN CHIEF.

He did NOT think that we might need a few more border agents and lots of judges to control and adjudicate the refugee petitions. @Richva................I think there were a lot of complaints about what the troops would be paid, as if they would not have been paid anyway. Then, here comes the delusion that thousands of border agents and judges are available to instantly  handle this influx of people and I am guessing you think their services will be free. What happened to the few of you who were going to take a family or two into your homes? Did you get cold feet or something? What have the ones of you who act as if you have had a ringside seat to this invasion been doing when you were dodging rocks? This is not a legal and peaceful group trying to go through the proper channels to come into this country. A blind fool could see they are invading and plan to destroy this country.
