He did once, but he was only talking about a piece of chocolate cake.

Ok  Mickstuder.

I will ask you the same question. YOu have spent innumerable amount of time criticizing Trump, providing evidence and facts regarding this man, and yet, there is nothing that you have has to say that has changed the mind of our resident Trump Followers,

To say that thy are mentally challenged is not a  true statement but, what makes these individuals  say what they say, excuse what we know that they excuse and believe what they believe. I have one answer, they are part of a cult. I think that there has to be other reasons. what do you think?

After months of backtracks on the Russia investigation, and now on those hush money payments to two former Trump paramours, the White House has apparently settled on a new line of defense:

We didn’t do anything wrong, but even if we did it’s not a crime.

Over the weekend, Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani told ABC News’s George Stephanopolous that “collusion is not a crime,” “hush payments aren’t crimes,” and if Trump personally had received a heads-up from Roger Stone about a WikiLeaks e-mail dumps that targeted Democrats well, guess what, that isn’t a crime either, says the former New York Mayor.

If Trump and those around him did nothing wrong; if their actions weren’t crimes, why have they consistently lied about it?

Why all the lies about Russia?

Why did the president and his aides consistently deny knowledge of the payoffs to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal?

Why did Trump deny that it was done to keep the women quiet during the campaign?

Why did he lie about his lawyer, Michael Cohen (the other one), being reimbursed for the payments?

Why does Trump’s story keep changing? If none of this was wrong — and if it was what any political campaign in a similar situation would do, as some have argued — why not just tell the truth from the beginning.

Keep in mind it was over two years ago that Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said about rumored links between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, “It never happened. There was no communication between the campaign and any foreign entity during the campaign.”

In fact, according to the Moscow Project, there were at least 97 documented contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives.

In February 2017, Trump himself said at a press conference that “Nobody that I know of” from his campaign had been in contact with Russia. “I have nothing to do with Russia. To the best of my knowledge, no person that I deal with does.”

That wasn’t true either. Nearly two years later, we know that 16 Trump campaign officials and advisers had contacts with Russian officials and another 12 knew about them.

Donald Trump Jr., lied about meeting with Russian officials at Trump Tower for the specific purpose of getting dirt on Hillary Clinton. Then his dad, the president, put out a press statement doubling down on the lie.

Jeff Sessions forgot to tell the Senate, in both written and oral testimony, about his meetings with former Russian ambassador to the United States Sergey Kisylak

Jared Kushner repeatedly omitted contacts with Russian officials on his application for a security clearance.

George Papadopoulos lied about his communications with Russian intermediaries who were peddling Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and went to jail.

Cohen lied about his work on a Trump organization project in Moscow, and he’ll be going to jail for three years.

Michael Flynn lied about his conversations with Kisylak during the transition . . . and he’s hoping to avoid jail.

Roger Stone lied about his discussions with Russian hackers and WikiLeaks and may be facing indictment.

After he agreed to cooperate with the special counsel, Paul Manafort lied about his contacts with a former employee who has close ties to Russian intelligence — and there’s a reasonable chance that he’ll be spending the rest of his life in jail.

Trump officials were lying because they knew they did something wrong. Some might have been aware they committed a crime; others may have feared embarrassment and political consequences. But no matter how Trump and his enablers try to spin this now, the fact is none of them, it seems, believed what they did was proper or even defensible. If they did, there was no reason not to tell the truth.

And yet over and over again, not telling the truth is exactly what they did.

Rker asked a great question. She said, "Could you provide a reasonable explanation as to why many Americans think that Trump doesn't lie, and that he will make America Great?"

Rker, I've repeatedly tried to answer that question but found only one logical explanation. In a cult, the members sacrifice their values and thought process to their supreme leader. As a result, they never question, challenge, nor criticize their leader. When their leader speaks, HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT. Cult members are totally incapable of seeing the reality of their leader's aberrant behavior.

That's why cult members say and do things that leave everyone else shaking their head in disbelief. Nobody in a normal state of mind would do the kind of things cult members do. Check out our resident cult members. Every one of them vehemently denies being part of Trump's cult, but in the 3 years of Trump's political career, you cannot find any posts from them where they criticize or disagree with Comrade Trump.

Rker, I've tried to come up with an explanation, but other than cult behavior, nothing elses fits.

But they don't live in the real world, they inhabit an alternate reality where the truth is irrelevant.

For more than 2 years, Trump claimed he had no business dealings with Russia. Yesterday, proof was obtained by CNN that statement was yet another lie. A document shows President Donald Trump signed a letter of intent to move forward with negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Russia.

I don't think I would be going out on a limb to predict Mueller will discover an array of Trump business deal and/or loans with Russians.

Indict, Impeach, or both?

Could you provide a reasonable explanation as to why many Americans think that Trump doesn't lie, and that he will make America Great?  don't they see what has been happening in this country since he took office. Why, ? and what could be  the explanation.?

Unfortunately we have had to sit back all this time, and GOD knows how much longer and listen to his lies everyday.

We or most of us know he's lying, therefore we do not believe a word he says.  We just have to sit back and wait until Mueller catches up to his all of his lies and his money trail.

Because it's been way more than these 2 years, and lots of paper work we may be in for a long ride. This is unfortunate, but hopefully in the long run he gets the job done and gets rid  of The Lying, Thief Trump once and for ALL.

Hopefully it's before he ruins our Country any more than he alreay has. Getting someone in Office who can make amends with our Allies, also letting our Enemies know who they are, keeping peace but letting them know we do not have a Trump in Office any longer.
