What we do know, if anyone has bothered to think this through is that Flynn has testified in open court that he knew he wasn't played by the FBI Interrogaters.    The Judge in this case had something that no one here had, a complete transcript - so IMO the RW conspiracy theory sites are doing the really stupid thing of "assuming" and filling in sections of the report that will not be made public.

Which is why, IMO, that RWers don't add source to their statement.

Which could it be?  247sports, the Federalist, Scout, saracarter, tigerdroppings, breitbart, etc etc etc.

Let's try to get by the giggles and ignore breitbart, etc. (they ain't here) and consider this just between us guys (generic). They asked him questions that they already knew the answers to. Does that sound like a fact gathering session or an entrapment effort?

As anyone with a modicum of common sense would realize, they were asking questions to (1) get facts and (2) determine whether they could trust what he was telling them. Why you continually claim that you know more about what went on that everyone who was in the  conversation? Both Flynn and his lawyers have said that there was no entrapment.

Look at that modicum of common sense this way - a guy opposed to President Trump with a Plan B in case he wins goes to the WH in circumstances that Comey said were not normal but they were able to get away with it due ti the inexperience of the new staff. He sits down for a friendly conversation (no lawyers needed) with Flynn. He then asks question related to a secretly acquired phone tap. There is obviously no "information gathering" involved in that. And he trips Flynn up.

What do you suppose the purpose of that "sit down" was??

Both Flynn and his lawyer said what Mueller told them to say in their negotiations.

Do you really think that both Flynn and his lawyers are that incompetent? Even if they are that incompetent, or maybe because they are that incompetent, they tried to make the same argument you are making and got shut down mightedly by the judge.

Following negotiated procedures is hardly incompetent.

Then they must be incompetent since they tried the same argument you have been pushing and it failed.

I was not present during the negotiations. Since you were, I'll have to take your word for it.

Michael Flynn wasn’t entrapped

In Trump World, the criminals he hires to conduct business in and around his criminal empire really aren't felons.. Incredibly, they are VICTIMS of a corrupt FBI, a plot by Hillary, or some other excuse. Believe me, if Obama had just 2 people in his administration who were convicted felons, Trump Cult members would have personally traveled to DC and demanded he be impeached.

Flynn conspired with the dictator in Turkey as part of a $15 million plot to kidnap someone in America for the Turkish dictator so he could be tortured and murdered in Turkey. Flynn LIED to the FBI but not in Trump World. He already admited that in federal court.

But Trump Cult members will search for and find any excuse, conspiracy theory, or any other reason to ignore the criminals who surround Comrade Trump.

Judge Sullivan had set a deadline of 3 pm Friday which Mueller met. He included a cover letter warning the judge not to “minimize” the seriousness of the charges against Flynn. Missing from the documents was the original and crucial FBI 302 report. FBI rules require that a 302 report be prepared within five days of an interview. Instead, Fox News reports that the 302 submitted to Judge Sullivan was dated July 19, 2017  and “specifically came from an interview with Strzok in which the Flynn encounter was discussed — and not the original Flynn interview.” Worse still, this report was heavily redacted. One and a half pages were completely redacted.

Judge Sullivan is perhaps best known for overturning the wrongful conviction of the late Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK) in 2008. He is no stranger to the heavy-handed tactics government prosecutors are capable of and is no doubt acutely aware that Mueller has deliberately withheld the original 320.

The documents show there was disagreement among FBI officials over then-FBI Director James Comey’s decision to question Flynn. Surprisingly, they also indicate that then-Acting Attorney General Sally Yates was “not happy” about the interview either. The documents state the two agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe he had intentionally lied to them. In that case, why did the Mueller team continue to pursue Flynn? These documents can be viewed here.

Try to "keep up".  Their argument (like yours) got shut down and so did their "negotiations".

I would be interested in finding out as to why he decided to lie to the judge.

My understanding of what "the poster" meant was that Flynn and his lawyer said what Mueller instructed them to say.
