I agree with the rest, but nothing will be free compliments of the left.  We are already paying for in with the restrictions on our freedoms.

So there were 2,000 National Guard troops and the rest are regular military.  Oh good. Trump just asked a foreign power to station 13,000 of their front line troops on our border.

The National Guard has not graduated ANY troops from their recruitment programs.

Another frivolous reply?  You would prefer that we just open up our borders and say "Y'all come"!!!   What are you going to do when ISIS, etc starts sending insurgents across the border?

It's about time that Mexico starts earning the money we send south to support their economy.

Who cares if their National Guard hasn't graduated from recruitment programs, they're not going to be stationed in Texas, etc.

Mexico Deploys 15,000 Troops to the US Border to Crackdown on Illegal Immigration

Mexican authorities deployed 15,000 troops Tuesday to the US-Mexico border to crackdown on immigrants illegally entering the United States.

“Mexico has deployed nearly 15,000 troops to its northern border as part of efforts to stop migrants from entering the United States, the country’s Secretary of Defense Luis Cresencio Sandoval said,” reports UPI.

“In the northern part of the country, we have deployed a total of almost 15,000 troops composed of National Guard elements and military units,” Sandoval said

Thousands more have previously been deployed to Mexico’s southern border with Guatemala.

Mexican authorities began their nationwide crackdown on human smugglers this week; discovering approximately 800 migrants crammed into a series of semi-trailers heading towards the United States.

“Foreign Affairs Secretary Marcelo Ebrard said more than 150 of the 785 migrants found inside the double trailers of four semis Saturday in the Gulf coast state of Veracruz were children,” reports Fox New York.

“We can’t allow human trafficking,” Ebrard said. “We might be experiencing one of the greatest human trafficking (situations) in the world.”

Officials confirmed each migrant was paying $3,500 dollars to be smuggled into the United States.

Mexico deployed their National Guard to the southern border with Guatemala late last week; sending the troops to avoid a proposed 5% tariff on all Mexican goods entering the United States.

“Deployment of National Guard forces to Mexico’s southern border was due to start on Wednesday and will advance quickly under a migration control deal signed last week with the United States, Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said on Wednesday,” reports Reuters.

“Starting from today, and in the coming days, the deployment is going to progress rapidly,” said Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard alongside Mexican President Obrador.

“The deal averted escalating import tariffs of 5% on Mexican goods, which U.S. President Donald Trump had vowed to impose unless Mexico did more to curb illegal migration into the United States,” adds the website.

US and Mexican officials have reportedly agreed to a 45-day timeline to crackdown on the flow of illegal immigrants crossing the United States’ southern border.

“A lot of things have to happen in 45 days,” Ebrard said. “We are going to do what we said we are going to do.”
