With all due respect, THIS is what is so sad about the "diversity." All the GOP Trump supporters have to do is show what they are. As was said......Trump is exposing the GOP for the xenophobes they are. In this country, today, it's so sad. And many of these people have the NERVE to say they are "Christian." Racial slurs at Obama AND a neo Nazi account called “White Genocide” which also featured an image of Jewish candidate Bernie Sanders being sent to a gas chamber? I mean.......REALLY? What has the GOP become?.....Woman Indifferent

Donald Trump campaign sinks to new low: President Obama is a “Negro” and a “half-breed”

http://www.dailynewsbin.com/news/donald-trump-campaign-sinks-to-new-low-president-obama-is-a-negro-a...

president-obama-donald-trump

Donald Trump has spent half his Presidential campaign attacking and demonizing various minority groups, and the other half of his campaign hurling insults at President Obama. Now he and his campaign have found a way to do both in the same breath, with an attack on the President that is raising eyebrows. The racist language involved has managed to drag things to a new low – which at this point some thought was impossible.

Trump’s official campaign spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, took to Twitter to refer to President Obama as being the “head Negro in charge” while lamenting that the United States needs a “pure breed” President instead. When she was later given a chance to walk those comments back, she instead doubled down on them and referred to Obama as a “half breed.” Again, this woman is the top spokesperson for the entire Donald Trump campaign, and not some errant staffer. It’s not the first time this week that Trump and company have gone off the racist rails.

Earlier this week Trump retweeted a neo Nazi account called “White Genocide” which also featured an image of Jewish candidate Bernie Sanders being sent to a gas chamber. And now we have Trump’s top rep throwing the racial slur kitchen sink at President Obama.

Cool - so now anyone not agreeing with the Washington establishment (something that seems to get everybody POed) is now a proto-fascist.

Plain ol' Fascist isn't good enough so we moved to neo-Fascists and now "proto-"

Sigh!!!!

And of course, Bruce Bartlett is the "proof that makes the point". Here is an objective evaluation of the Republican Party from Mr. Bartlett, "The GOP is now overwhelmed by immigrant haters, racists, bigots, gun nuts, religious kooks and other political scum".

Yep, quoting that guy sure proves your point.

Your unsupported biased "observation" makes another point that all and sundry are well aware of...

Bruce Barlett (economist in Reagan administration) agrees with you.......the GOP has spent years lying to their base and the result is Trump-mania.

Core wanker problem--what the base wants is impossible to achieve but leaders lied and said it could be done. Now base wants fascist leader.

How offensive. Describing a pol whose philosophy you disagree with as a Kluxer and a Nazi.

Typical of those who describe any disagreement with the President's agenda as "racist".

Well, "runner" didn't write that. That was part of the article......Woman Indifferent

But, all one has to do is to observe his rally's. People DO have their views And, obviously, they are allowed to express it. Even UGLY, XENOPHOBIC, RACIST, BIGOTED views against other religions that aren't "Christian," and other peoples that don't share particular values with us.

If this country weren't "free," could these folks "express themselves"? They should feel lucky they exist here.....Woman Very Happy

Not true. Your accusations and target are reversed.

Because America is a model of diversity, it is pretty sad to see that there are people supporting candidates like Trump, who would take away the rights of people he doesn't like.

As long as you support their right of choice you can be right  : )

Hop in ...... but notice that you may not like the company.

And then again, your defense of Trump suggests otherwise.

Really? It's a model of adversity. You sure you didn't mean to write that? Yeah, we have a more diverse population than any country in the world, but the 'melting pot' thing was never really true. Worse now.

The word is "promised" and if one has been paying attention we know that some elected officials and some appointed officials are working as hard and fast as they can to take away peoples rights and representation in this country.

New voter ID laws - meant to make it harder and more expensive for Seniors and minority groups to vote.

Gerrymandering rules - to redraw electoral maps to swing elections.

Citizen United etc - in which the wealthy can buy elections without having to reveal themselves.

Worse is that people refuse to read anything longer than a page and refuse to acknowledge that the information even exist.

Why is it that the Tea Party so embraced the Constitution but are now advocating for a meeting to destroy it.

Missing the point... that people do not want everyone to have an equal say but rather they want others to vote the way they think is right..   Your other mentioned issues are valid but don't change  my point.
