Re: McConnell Blocked SCOTUS 4 A Year Now Every House Bill

Can we finally conclude that mitch, along trump and barr, are in the process,

and have been in the process of destroying our legislative, judicial, and executive branches of our government!

How can anyone support that, or deny it?

Are they all working for putin, or just want to install an authoritarian dictatorship?

And I do have to lay a lot of the responsibility at the feet of the littlepubs in the Senate, who have done absolutely nothing to stand up to trump, barr, or mitch! They are the protective keys who have been absent.

McConnell Blocked SCOTUS 4 A Year Now Every House Bill

McConnell Blocked Merrick Garlands Nomination to the Supreme Court for over a year - the Supreme Court of the USA had to work without a 9th Judge for over a year

After getting away with that - McConnell has simply CLOSED THE SENATE for the last 6 months

Refusing to bring any House Bills to the Floor - regardless of how much Bi-partisan support there is

1. House passed legislation that provides legal status for potentially millions of "Dreamers," young people brought to the country illegally as children. In a Fox News poll released Sunday, nearly three-fourths of Americans said they supported legal status for those young people.

2. the House passed the "Equality Act," which would bar discrimination in housing and employment based on sexual orientation or gender identity. An April poll from the nonpartisan Public Religion Research Institute likewise found that nearly three-fourths of Americans support legislation to ban such discrimination.

3. the House passed legislation to block regulatory actions by the Trump administration that would dilute the Affordable Care Act's protections for patients with preexisting medical problems. In April polling by the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation, about two-thirds of Americans said it was important that health insurers be required to sell coverage to consumers with preexisting health conditions and be prevented from charging them more.

4. Polls have registered the most emphatic public support for legislation the House passed in February to require universal background checks for all gun sales. In a national Quinnipiac University poll earlier this year, an astounding 93% of Americans, including 89% of Republicans and 87% of gun owners, said they supported such a requirement.

5. Other House-passed measures this year include the Violence Against Women Act, legislation promoting greater gender equity in pay and comprehensive legislation to expand voting rights and impose new ethics guidelines on Washington.

Senior Democratic House aides are confident that by the 2020 election, they will also pass legislation creating a nationwide $15 minimum wage, expanding the subsidies for families to purchase health insurance through the ACA's exchanges, updating the Voting Rights Act and combating the rising costs of prescription drugs.

Now McConnell is Blocking Legislation that protects the fundamental principles of our democracy,"
