Those who live in the real world undrestand that Socialism has been woven into our economy for almost 100 years. Americans would go broke or die if it weren't for Socialism.

The RED SCARE bogeyman.

I wonder if that still works?

Who are we supposed to be afraid of now?

The Russians ????

NO, NO , not the Russians, they gave millions to my mega Church.

The Chinese ?

Yes,  China is a good example of how socialism is a failure.

Internationally we should be concerned with nations with "big bombs" who are not "our buds".

Now, back to the topic, Socialism is an economic system that would not be good for our country.

Much of our OWN COUNTRY'S economic engine is based on SOCIALISM.

How do you think the mechanics of SOCIAL SECURITY operates?

In the private sector, how do you think the mechanics of health insurance, auto insurance, and homeowner's insurance operate?

We have less of a DEMOCRACY than one thinks and there's nothing wrong with that because I learned long ago that no PURE DEMOCRACY, PURE SOCIALIST, OR PURE COMMUNIST society could be successful.

No, our economy is based on Capitalism - and that pays for SS.

As to car insurance, for example, it exists because in our economy people can make money by starting a company providing a wanted service - something that seems to bother you as a motivator.

You are correct. but because a good majority of Americans have no idea of what Socialism or even communism happens to be it is easy for Trump to inflict the fear of those words on the ignorant of those facts.

As ususal, RK doesn't get it.

  • She's a first year representative with no clout in Congress.
  • Who cares if she's a socialist? She's only 1 persoan
  • Real news networks almost never mention her
  • Fox shows her over and over to rile up their low IQ viewers.,
  • Why doesn't Fox repeatedly show Steve King from Iowa, the White Nationalist, every day of the week?

You see, Fox viewers have no idea they are victims of political propaganda. In this case, the politics of fear. They aren't sharp enough to realize they're not watching the news on Fox, they are being brainwashed.

AOC is only one person but she represents an ideology prevalent in the Democratic Party although many are afraid or embarrassed to admit it. So, they prefer to implement it on the sly.

As to Fox and King - apparently ct watches a lot more Fox than rk. It must feed his/her/it's need for something to complain about.

What you describe, being able to eat cake and keep it, sounds remarkably like the theory behind the Trump tax cuts. You know, the ones where the middle class got crumbs and the wealthy are buying new yachts?  Of course, we are now seeing trillion dollar deficits as predicted. Liberals would never make these basic economic mistakes. We  understand capitalism and free markets too well.

No, like you can have your cake and eat it too.

Ah, but the idea is to have someone else's cake and eat it. And then the government steals another one for you.
