Manhattan DA cites " extensive criminal conduct" at Trump Organization.

As I have been saying as many times as possible, Trump IS a criminal, and a Manhattan District Attorney has confirmed this. Lawyers for a Manhattan Prosecutor told a Judge it is justified in seeking Trump's tax returns and financial records because of "public reports of extended and protracted criminal conduct at the Trump Org."

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. is seeking eight years of the Republican president’s personal and corporate tax records, but has disclosed little about what prompted him to request the records, other than part of the investigation is related to payoffs made to women to keep them quiet about alleged affairs with Trump.

In their court filing Monday, though, attorneys for Vance said Trump’s arguments that the subpoena was too broad stemmed from “the false premise” that the probe was limited to so-called “hush-money” payments.

“This Court is already aware that this assertion is fatally undermined by undisputed information in the public record,” Vance’s lawyers wrote.

They said public reporting demonstrates that at the time the subpoena was issues “there were public allegations of possible criminal activity at Plaintiff’s New York County-based Trump Organization dating back over a decade.”

These reports describe transactions involving individual and corporate actors based in New York County, but whose conduct at times extended beyond New York’s borders. This possible criminal activity occurred within the applicable statutes of limitations, particularly if the transactions involved a continuing pattern of conduct,” the lawyers said.

The lawyers urged Judge Victor Marrero to swiftly reject Trump’s arguments, saying the baseless claims were threatening the investigation. Marrero, who ruled against Trump last year, has scheduled arguments to be fully submitted by mid-August.

Lock him up!!

I believe the only thing keeping Trump out of prison is the Justice Department memo which prevents prosecuting a sitting president. But if he loses in November, all bets are off.,

If he loses the election in November, Trump will be in big trouble. He could easily wind up wearing an orange jump suit to match his hair color.

tRump and Moscow Mitch have tried to stack the Supreme Court to keep Trump out of prison after he leaves office, let's hope they are unsuccessful.

Now it's looking like Deutsche Bank may 'spill the beans'.

That's right Tom, Trump is the first presidential candidate who refused to release his tax returns. Remember his bogus excuse in 2016? I'm under audit. Here we are 4 years later and he still refuses to release them. Even a first year detective can figure out Trump is hiding something big in those tax returns.

But does Trump World care? Of course not! They never put America or the Rule of Law first, they always put Trump First. They worship the ground he walks on.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

What's the big deal or better yet what law did he break?  There is no law requiring it.

Trump is the first candidate in my lifetime that is not a politician but a successful business man.  That was one of the reasons I voted for him.  Look what the seasoned politicians before him got us into over the past 50 years!

Looking at the accomplishments he has in 3 years makes me wonder if the other guys were even trying!  Or maybe that was part of their plan...

Thank God for the secret voting booth where people are free to vote their conscious, free of the ridicule used by the cancel culture!  Scoff all you like and continue your name calling...  Sticks and stones... You know the rest.

He may not have broken the law regarding releasing his returns Jim, BUT for some reason he hides them, and it appears for good reason as he is being investigated for possible insurance and bank fraud, possibly more, THAT is why he doesn't want his info out, because if found true, those are FELONIES! OOPS! He is already an unindicted co conspirator for his hush money payments to women, OOPS!!!

TOO FUNNY!  The MSM is off the deep end and a DA bases an investigation on mis-information.

BY Joel Pollock

The Manhattan district attorney’s office suggested on Monday that it has been investigating President Trump and his company for possible bank and insurance fraud, a significantly broader inquiry than the prosecutors have acknowledged in the past.

The suggestion by the office of the district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., came in a new federal court filing arguing that Mr. Trump’s accountants should have to comply with a subpoena seeking eight years of his personal and corporate tax returns. Mr. Trump had asked a judge to declare the subpoena invalid.

In the new filing, the prosecutors did not directly identify the subject of their inquiry. But they said that “undisputed” assertions in earlier court papers and several news reports about Mr. Trump’s business practices showed that the office had a wide legal basis for the subpoena.

They cited newspaper investigations that concluded the president may have illegally inflated his net worth and the value of his properties to lenders and insurers. They also included an article on the congressional testimony of his former lawyer and fixer, Michael D. Cohen, who told lawmakers last year that the president had committed insurance fraud. Lawyers for the president have denied wrongdoing.

The links above all refer to reporting by the New York Times, which apparently is the source for Vance’s claims of possible fraud.

Vance’s filing comes after the Supreme Court ruled in a pair of cases last month that the president could not demand that local prosecutors meet a heightened burden for an ordinary subpoena, but that Congress did not have the right to demand whatever documents it wanted of the president.
