In one of his threads, he uploaded the comments one of the judges made in Manafort's other trial about the legal authority of the Mueller investigation. In that trial, the judge questioned Mueller's authority, but did NOT make a ruling. It was nothing more than routine question any federal judge would ask.

However, he took that question as legal gospel to argue the Meuller investigation exceeded its authority to investigate the Trump CampaIgn and Administration. He will do anything to protect his hero in the White House as he believes every right wing conspriacy theory related to Mueller. And he will never disagee with, challenge, or question his idol in the White House.

And this is why you never, ever take the word of a conservative at face value. Always read the sentences to see how they are playing with the words and always check to verify what they state as fact. Trump and his followers have taught us the hard way.

Meanwhile, he proved that he does not understand how the law operates.

Looks like Manafort **bleeped** up bigtime...

Even if lying liddle donnie pardons him - nobody (well, nobody honest, honorable, and trustworthy) will ever want to be publicly known to have anything to do with him ever again - sort of like Scooter Libby - he may have been pardoned - but the fact that he's low life scum will follow him to the grave...

Manaford loses bid to dismiss Mueller indictment

Manaford did not get the indictments dismissed. His argument was that Mueller was operating outside his lane by investigating Manaford. If you will remember, the conservatives here were dancing around the Manaford bonfire gleeful that he was going to get off and deepen the swamp.

Hey, I guess Trump is going to drain the swamp. One lackey at a time.

“The indictment falls squarely within that portion of the authority granted to the Special Counsel that Manafort finds unobjectionable: the order to investigate ‘any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign,’” Jackson wrote.

“Manafort was, at one time, not merely ‘associated with,’ but the chairman of, the Presidential campaign, and his work on behalf of the Russia-backed Ukrainian political party and connections to other Russian figures are matters of public record,” the judge added in her 37-page ruling. “It was logical and appropriate for investigators tasked with the investigation of ‘any links’ between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign to direct their attention to him.”
