Make No Mistake - This is peLOSER/socialist shutdown

PeLOSER (Pelosi/Schumer) and the rest of the libtards supported building a wall. Then Trump decided to build it and they all decided it's immoral and unneeded.

In 2013 Obama refused to sign Continuing Resolutions to fund the rest of the government unless Obamacare was funded and the left claimed the resulting shutdown was Congress' fault for not giving him the funding he wanted. Trump refuses to sign Continuing Resolutions to fund the rest of the government unless the wall is funded and the left claims the resulting shutdown is Trump's fault for not giving up what he wants.

Democrats go on and on and on about how bad Trump is for letting so many people get hurt by the shutdown by not letting go of his demand for a wall. But if they are really that concerned, why don't THEY let go of their opposition to the wall? After all, what they're talking about is nothing more than a rounding error in the federal budget.

I too could go on and on and on but let's face facts. The problem with the current shutdown is the two sides have different goals. Trump's goal is to build a wall. You can assign a lot of reasons to why he wants to build a wall, some good and some bad. But the bottom line is he wants to build a wall. And before I hear any the current nonsense about “walls,” I'm using that word to describe a structure of WHATEVER kind along parts of the border. PeLOSER's goal is to cause a shutdown they can, hopefully, blame on Trump to gain political advantage. They've come up with a lot of reasons but none of them make sense, especially since they previously supported a wall.

Besides, a defining principle of good management is that you NEVER give someone the responsibility for doing something unless you give them the authority and tools they need to be successful. It's also just common sense. If you give someone a task but don't give him what he needs to do the task you're doing nothing more than setting him up for failure. The Border Patrol has said repeatedly that they need the wall to be successful. They have appeared on TV and there are a great articles and op-eds on the Border Patrol Council (union) web site and elsewhere dating back to before they endorsed Trump for President due to his promise to help them by building a wall. They are the ones who have the responsibility for protecting our borders. They are the boots on the ground. They know far better than the unnamed so-called “experts” who say a wall is not needed. And they want the wall. That alone should be reason enough to build it.

And that alone is a good reason enough to NEVER put Democrats in charge of anything let alone the federal government. They obviously don't understand the basic principles of good management.

The Democratic controlled house just passed a bill, which is essentially the same one Republicans passed in mid-December, to open the government. But guess who's preventing a vote in the Senate. If you guessed Pelosi, you would be wrong. It's Mitch McConell.

What McConnell is doing makes him the smartest man in any room in Washington.  Why should he waste any senate time until Trump and the democrats agree on something?

I still love the "Peloser" tag. It really demonstrates the quality of debate in the MAGA Mobsters.  Trump closed the government  when Republicans had both houses and after giving McConnell instructions on what he would sign.

  • Then he threw the Republicans under the bus.
  • He proactively took credit for the coming shutdown.
  • He walked out of negotiations

Pelosi took over as Speaker after the Republicans threw up their hands and said "You deal with him.  We don't trust him anymore".

I can't tell you how much Trump calling Schumer "Crying Chuck" has helped get the Democrats back to the barganing table.  "PeLoser", always cracks me up.

This entire thread is straight out of the Fox/Trump playbook. When things go badly, they create a villain, and repeatedly demonize him or her 24/7. They blame everyone except the man they idolize and worship in the White House, their SUPREME LEADER, Comrade Trump.

Cult behavior is terrifying. Read up on the 1997 Heaven's Gate Cult whose Supreme Leader was a guy named Applewhite. Cult members never disagree with or criticize their leader.

Trump: I will proudly shut down the government. The man took personal responsibilty for the shut down, but his cult members are pretending that isn't true.

Republicans controlled the House, Senate, and White House for 2 years and the Republican Party refused to fund Trump's vanity wall. Vote after vote failed to get enough Republicans on board.

The Democratic controlled house just passed a bill, which is essentially the same one Republicans passed in mid-December, to open the government. But guess who's preventing a vote in the Senate. If you guessed Pelosi, you would be wrong. It's Mitch McConell.

But in Trump World, they never hold him responsible or accountable for anything negative. That's one big reason it's a CULT.

When Reagan set up the circumstances that ended the Cold War I heard it said that the Russians made the same mistake that Patco did - they simply didn't believe what Reagan would do said he said he would do.

Straight out of the peLOSER pinhead playbook.  They are just not capable of understanding that repeating it over and over does not make it true.

That's been addressed numerous times already.  Try to keep up instead of going round and round in circles.

Reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield.  He said: I get no respect.  I get no respect.  When I told my father I was tired of running around in circles he nailed my other foot to the floor.

Most Americans DO hate traitors to the country.  Speaking of traitors, I see Giuliani is following the Stormy Daniels payoff script again.

  1. Never happened
  2. Didn't know anything about it <Where Big G is now
  3. It was a private transaction
  4. That rat advised me to do it.

If Giuliani continues to give media interviews he will have everyone associated with the Trump campaign and every Republican in the government convicted of treason.

WillaimB, very true. Not only are the Dems in favor of border security, they're offering money to pay for it.

Trump Lovers repeatedly use the same false argument that if you oppose Trump's Vanity Wall, then you're for open borders. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

It's actually straight out of the peLOSER pinhead playbook.   Anything, ANYTHING, to avoid rational discussion while whining and lying about Trump.  Have you noticed that with all the left wing replies in this thread, IN ALL the threads, it's all the same, no substance, no rational arguments.  It's ALWAYS the same.
