The ADT Corporation, the largest security company in the United States and Canada, announced Wednesday that it will pull its ads from CNN in the wake of the growing drama surrounding a photograph showing Kathy Griffin lifting up a bloodied decapitated head meant to resemble President Donald Trump.

A Twitter user sent ADT a message asking the Florida-based company to “drop CNN.”

“We do not support these views,” ADT responded. “We’ve begun the process of pulling our ads from this network.”

Griffin has co-hosted a live New Year’s Eve broadcast on CNN since 2007 alongside network anchor Anderson Cooper. The network said late Tuesday that it was “evaluating” its relationship with the 56-year-old comedian.

I guess that firing her means that CNN was silent. What more should they have done? Beheaded her?

Why would you suggest such a terrible action?

Looks like another FAKE NEWS story posted by a Conservative; it's what they do. Not one major news organization is reporting this story.  Why?  None of them can verify it's factual.....not even Fox, the mothership.

Starting to look like this story might be fake news.  I always suspect Brietbart and it is not showing up anywhere except the BB clones. One is talking about the Secret Service starting an investigation of Griffin. Yeah, right.

Time will tell but right now it looks like a typical BB run the headline no matter what the facts move. Stay tuned.

Cent--You are so right.  This was not a question of protected speech.  It was a matter of protecting the brand for sponsors and for CNN.  This is a matter of couth vs uncouth.  Acceptable vs unacceptable.  The sponsors know that even though trump may not be at all popular, what Griffin did was wrong.  Consumers will remember.  One wonders if the Secret Service will come and have a talk with Miss Griffin.

Gee, I miss having a real President!!
