Justice Dept. Lawyer said Russia had Trump "over a barrel".

Message 11 of 74

RK does it again, he changes the meaning of what I said. One of these days, RK will NOT try to change what I write, but I don't know when that will be.

The mission of the Mueller Team is to investigate the alledged interference of Russians into the 2016 Presidential election. As part of that mandate, they will investigate any Trump campaign members alledged cooperation and conspiracy to impact the election with the Russians.

Finally, just as with all criminal investigations, the Mueller team will investigate any federal crimes they uncover during the process.. Prosecutors do not ignore crimes because they weren't listed as part of the initial investigation. Trump Cult members cannot grasp that concept.

A member of the cult of hatred says the mission was not "Russian collusion" and it wasn't "get Trump" yet doesn't state his/her/it's opinion as to what is was.

Sounds like he/she/it doesn't want to discuss the issue preferring instead to just hurl insults.

So here's other stuff we've discovered about Der Trumper.

1990 - the Trump Brand is dead in the water - cannot even get JunkBond financing because everyone knows donny will never repay his debts. Trump himself admits to having a negative net worth at the time because of his monsterous debts.

Since then, funding has magically appeared for numerous realestate and product deals IN RUSSIA, and elsewhere financed either by VES, a huge bank that Vlaidmir Putin was head of while his day job was running the KGB, or Deutsche Bank (at least $650 Million loaned to Trump, at least $350Million still owed) before they were convicted of multiple counts of money laundrying for the Russian Mob, Oligarchs and Government (often the same people).

VES also loaned Jarad $235Million to bail out Kischner Real Estate, and it appears his contacts made during that deal were the ones who steared Jared to the KGB agents he and jrtuump and Manafort met with in Trump Tower to discus how the Russians could help the Trump campaign.

So like I've said many times before, everything Steele identified in his famous Dossier indicating Trump was under Russian influence has turned out to have verification from a number of sources - except for the infamous tape - Vlad's not turned that lose just yet.

Bottom line: Bruce Ohr has definately hit the nail on the head - Trump IS deeply compromised by his Russian creditors.

Where did you find that world you live in? No one has ever denied that Hillary and the DNC paid for the Steele dossier.

You left out that the original request for the Steele investigation was made by Reb. group working for one of the Reb. running against Trump in the Primary. They cancelled their request after their guy dropped out, and paid Steele for what he started. It was then picked up by a Dem and they paid for the rest. Now no more of the Dems started this. By the way nothing in that report has been proved false so far, and quite a bit proved true, with more  being proved true everyday. Muller knows the full story. Go see the film out this week as it covers some of it.

A bit of accuracy is needed as to the origins of the dossier is needed. Supporters of Rubio contracted with Fusion GPS for "opposition research". They were not Fusion GPS's first, last, or only client. The contract ended. Then someone else (DNC and Hillary campaign) became a client of Fusion GPS. Not really a tight connection there.

You are saying just what I posted. When Rubio dropped out the contract was cancelled by him, and he paid for services provided. It was the same person who did the research for both. Now you can stop saying it was Hillary who started and paid for it. It was both. You did not comment that now one word of the report has been proven untrue, and more and more has been proven correct. Muller knows the full story no one else does. It might be good for you to drop this until we see the Muller report as you become more incorrect everytime you comment on it.

Two separate issues, two separate contracts. Did they use material in the data base for the Hillary contract? They'd be fools not to.

If it's all true and since Mueller was hired to find Russian collusion, why is he wasting time on porn stars and NYC taxi medallions?

Stop trying to change the subject. One issue material on Trump. Two payers is what we have nothing else. Think you better read what Muller was tasked to look into. Russia collusion was the main item, but any other potential crimes discovered during his Russia collusion investigation. He discovered quite a few other crimes, and the investigation of them was passed on to other JD Offices. It is the southern district of New York Office who is doing the Cohen part which covers the porn stars, and taxi medallions. The Southern District made the arrest, and is handling the court case not Muller. It pays to learn a subject before you comment.

No change of subject in what I posted. As to Mueller's mandate, I have often agreed - the wording (particularly the third part) amounts to "Get Trump by any means necessary". However, if there is concern about Russian meddling in our elections, is Mueller not the focal point on that?

BTW - is the Steele dossier not a key element of the "collusion" question? As such, you'd think that Mueller would have a good grip on it.

"Republicans" means Republicans. I assure you the Democrats are much more patriotic and are very much in favor of these investigations.

Congress has the power to investigate.  I do agree that we should have another special council appointed to investigate the allegations in the Steele Dossier.  Oddly, the Republicans were more than happy to investigate (and prove the innocence of) Hillary with THREE Congressional committees.

I am not as worried about collusion. That seems to be coming out of the Mueller investigation quite nicely.  It is the selling of the country by Trump because of the blackmail in the Steele Dossier.  Let's have another special council and get it sorted out.

Are you disagreeing with anything I said about the powers of the Congress in their investigations?

And still, the Republicans refuse to investigate the facts presented in the Steele Dossier.  They prefer to develop conspiracy theories.  Let's treat this as the Republicans did Hillary.  We already have the Mueller investigation looking into how Russia tried to interfere in our last election.  Now, we need one to  check the Steele research and either verify or refute the information Steele, a well respected investigator, discovered.  If there is nothing "there", they will have the same outcome as the three committees who investigated Hillary.  All the charges were proved to be bogus. If the Trump/Russia charges prove not to be bogus, we can protect America.

Republicans should stop trying to get these cases dropped and get them investigated.  Someone needs to explain the terms "patriot" and "treason" to them.
