Evidently that could be considered an attempt for a personal attack?

And I believe that a presidential contender should be based on a person's ability, not their gender, race, religion, etc., nor on quotas.

That is a good point, Tx. But unfortunately to the left it's all about identity politics.

Aren't you satisfied with our Liar-In-Chief ?

Check the topic, chas. Sometimes that is more important than petty insults.

Be careful what you wish for as you might find she is as anti Trump as most thinking people are.

I'll take that chance. She is pro-America rather than all tied up in the petty personal jazz of you lefties.

For a group that hasn't produced an original idea in decades, Republicans are certainly inventive when it comes to what they use to support their champions and degrade their opponents.

Now we've got GOPers confusing Gretchen Carlson with Connie Rice - probably because all either of them was noticed for by the GOPer base was nice legs. So no surprise they transfered the violin from Gretch to Connie just like they want to beleive there's proof Der Trumper was a good businessman.

Wrong!   She was never a violininst.

She had aspirations of being a professional concert pianist - but in the summer after her sophmore year at DU, she attended the Aspen Music Festival and School - where the most talented students in the world attend - and she encountered pianists that she recognized as being far more talented than she was, and switched from music to Political Science.

Wonder how many other facts get "remembered differently" than in the real world...

Well, I stand corrected. I knew it was an instrument made with wood having strings (wires). Close enough, eh?

Well if you go back a number of centuries, the frames of pianos were made of wood back then - but they warped and broke under the stress of about ten times as many strings - which made that a poor design from the beginning.

The frame of a piano that the strings are strung across - the "harp" - is metal - there are no metal frames in violins violas, cellos, bass viols, etc.

That sort of "perceptual irregularity" causes one to wonder how many facts get "remembered differently" and "percieved differently" in the rightwingnut "alternate reality" as opposed to out here in the real world...

Republicans believe strongly that if their outrageous lies manage to convince Dems that those lies are true, then it's the Dems fault for whatever happens because Dems believed the lies, like getting the US into two worthless, unwinnable wars for profit that have killed 5200 brave Americans and left 50,000 physically disabled and millions perminently scared with PTSD.

That obviously (to a neoRpublican) means their lies about the efficacy of a wall, the culpability of innocent children for their parents actions and the indisputable righteousness of GOPer dogma now make the Dems actions to oppose those evil dogmas responsible for the consequences of said evil dogma, including the tRump shutdown of the Government.

We cannot allow these sanctimonious psychopaths to remain in office

You mean to say that she doesn't play the piano?  Gee, that to me would bring up her qualification.  but I guess that playing golf is not the number one requirement to become President.

If it was, obama would never have made it. He's awful.
