France and the United States.  Would Assad have used more CBR weapons if we didn't?  I'll ask you a question, if we hadn't went after their chemical weapons would you be calling Trump a coward?  Believe you would.

The mistake a lot of politicians make is forgetting
they've been appointed but thinking they've been anointed.

Every intelligent voter in America just had their eyebrows raised as Trump repeats Dubya's "Mission Accomplished" meme on Twitter.  I know Trump does not like to read. I am not sure he CAN read but surely this snowflake has seen a broadcasts about how Dubya used that banner to start the longest war in human history?

What a moron.

Were it not for the total inability of some on the left to ever have a positive thought about a Republican, it would be obvious that isolating out two words from their context it totally false.

Bush never said those words.

As to Trump - he was praising the UK and France and their military in saying that. And, unless you are privy to the actual mission statement, how can you possibly think that it was not accomplished?

So, who is the "moron" in this scenario - the President or those criticizing him?

So wouldn't "the morons" be those who say the mission was accomplished without even knowing what the actual mission statement was?  Do you know what the mission statement was?

No, I'd say that the morons are those who claim to know more than the military and political leaders of the US, UK, and France.

So it is OK to say "mission accomplished" without knowing what the mission was?

So no. Where did you get that crazy idea?

From trump and his supporters.

Can you substantiate that either the President or his supporters told you that he didn't know what the mission was about.

If not - your post is without value.

Yep at least two posters on the right admitted not knowing what the mission was about. Scroll back, you'll find em Lucy !

Mission Accomplished was jsut another PR stunt by the gutless draftdodger who lied us int otwo worthless NEVER-ENDING wars that will continue to redistribute billions from the Middle Class to the Uberrich, which is what Wars do which is why the GOPerLords love them so.

Who ever said that the troops completed their mission in Iraq?

And what has your wealth redistribution scheme to do with the topic?

Then congratulations on the mission. But you might want to consider that result of the mission was for trump to give the okay for assad, putin, and iran to continue their aggressions towards the Syrian people.

Yes, there is a civil war going on there. President Trump's only reaction was to a violation of Obama's "red line in the sand".

Do you want us involved in that civil war?

GOPerLords direct their dupes to use the expression "Mission Accomplished" whenever they've managed to complete another major income redistribution initiative, in this case it was by redistributing billions from public works projects that would've been paid to the average citizens doing the work to a small handful of Death Merchants who make the replacements for the weapons this latest War of Nothing will consume.

Chlorine gas is produced by applying an electric current to saltwater. Are the NRAGOPers seriously so dense they believe somehow Der Trumper's multi-million dollar tantrum will prevent Assad from producing chlorine gas? Since it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to destroy a modern Nation's ability to produce chlorine gas, what mission do the NRAGOP want us to think Lemontop accomplished? Is it ANOTHER WAR THAT WILL NEVER END? That appears to be the ONLY outcome from this latest foreign policy disaster brought to you by the people who told you Saddam had Nukes and was behind 9/11.

Any thoughts about the missile attack on Syria or do you just want to make excuses for Assad gassing people while you rant about your neoMarxist enemies - "lemontop", corporations, Der Trumper, NRAGOP and some strange reference to 9/11?

Nice try! He has no plan. He’s too worried about Mueller, Cohen, and the State of New York.

Plans...what are those

No try at all. Mueller and gang will phase out themselves after wasting enough taxpayer money.

Like I said before, only Trump knows the plan and he isn't telling me and he sure isn't telling the left!

Yep, they'll "phase themselves out" when they "phase trump out" !    ROFLMAO !!!!

Since both of you claim to have more knowledge than the rest of us,

what is trump’s detailed plan for Syria? At the moment it seems to be:

Lob a few cruise missles in once a year?

Warn russia who warns syria that they are coming...thought trump has always said that he won’t give advance notice?

Questioning someone’s motives is not necessarily attacking them.

Other plans?

The general plan is to inform the world that the U.S. is no longer leading from behind! Only Trump knows the real plan.

Informing the world and your enemies of what you are getting ready to do (missiles coming) is "leading from behind", IMO.  All trump did was allow them time to prepare., even though one of his comments in the past was "What ever happened to the element of surprise"?

Actually, that was a very smart strategy. Notice, no killed or injured Russians and, more important, no Russian defensive response.

Sadly, the haters can't see beyond their hatred.
