Where have you ever seen a Conservative defend violence? On the other hand there is the left's defense of antifa.

Let's start with the Orange Toad defending the Nazi who ran over counter protesters at the Nazi rally in Charlottesville.

Then we can reprise all Toads pronouncements for his followers to "beat the crap out of them" in reference to those protesting his liefest.

Or perhaps the Republican who intoned that a "bad" election result could be fixed with a "2d Amendment remedy". Or more recently the one who was joyful at the prospect of attending a lynching.

And of course the unending chorus of GOPers insisting they continue to be allowed to provide undiagnosed psychopaths with military weaponry that puts the MASS into Mass Murder.

The 2018 election was a good start, and proved we CAN remove racists from office, even in the deep Red America.

If the Dems can register (or re-register) more voters than the GOPers disenfranchise with their purges of voting rolls, the racist, sexist, cryptochristian scum can be scrubbed from office and we can get back to making America better for ALL her people in 2020 and undo the Gerrymanders in 2021.

That will leave us barely enough time to reverse climate change, but with Republicans able to stop that effort, civilization is doomed.

Yep, Conservatism will destroy humanity - only Socialism can save the day.

Proving once again, to at least one Conservative posting here, there is no grey area with anything.....it's either black or white, one extreme or the other.  No gray.....it's an extremely limiting way to "think".

You do know that Conservatives right wing caused WW1, and 2, you can add Korea to that also, plus Nixon kept Viet Nam war going so he could be elected the first time. Yes they even caused our war with Great Britain to gain our freedom. Fact is you will find just about every war was created by the right wing.

Really, Nixon and some dudes back in the 18th and early 20th centuries. I thought cent may have been referring to more contemporary actions.

You did it right here in this thread when you said, "Mr. Ba Tran, etal, it just goes to show the effects of the left wing take over of universities and refusal to allow for openness in dialogue - hey, they applaud antifa shutting down any "unapproved" speech.

Granted, the guy (Adkins) is a nut job but it is the environment that tipped him over the edge.

I look forward to an op/ed dealing with that aspect of the violence in our nation these days."

You are defending right-wing terrorism (violence) when you blame it on anything or anyone other than the right-wing terrorist.

Asking for balance in reporting is hardly "defending".

Left Wing terrorists killed only 23 people in terrorist attacks during this time, about 0.7% of the total number of murders.

It should be noted that the information in the FORBES article was distilled from the author's blog via the CATO Institute.     The RW apparently don't want to deal in statistical analysis / facts, they want to complain and attempt to start some sort of nonsense argument.    DEMS know better to engage in that nonsense.    But if the RW here can't be bothered to read and accept information from sites that support their political ideas, then they are dog chasing their own tail.

As pointed out by another blogger here, the antifa is supposed to be a slur, when in fact it is people who are fighting against fascism...so are the RWers here for fascism, not democracy?
