Something is rotten in Palm Beach County Florida elections, where Democrats want to count votes cast by non-citizens.

During review of provisional ballots to determine whether a recount is justified in the tight Florida governor, senate, and agriculture commission races, Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher identified a voter as a non-citizen and declared that the ballot would not be counted.

Attorneys representing the Democratic candidate for Senate Bill Nelson and the Democratic candidate for governor Andrew Gillum objected. A copy of the uncertified transcript shows the interaction.

Chairman of the Palm Beach County Republican Party Michael Barnett attests to the validity of the transcript. He told The Federalist that several Republican lawyers and party officials heard the back and forth between the canvassing board and attorney’s from the Gillum and Nelson campaigns.

“I would think this is something we could all agree on—that non-citizens shouldn’t vote, but evidently that’s not the case with Democrats,” Barnett said. “It’s really sad that we are having to deal with this in a close election. It just goes to show the depths they will go to in order to win.”

The canvassing board was tasked with reviewing ballots after irregularities were reported in Broward and Palm Beach counties. As of Friday afternoon these were the only two counties in Florida that hadn’t completed counting absentee votes. Broward had also failed to report early voting ballots, which is a violation of state law that requires local canvassing boards to report all early voting and absentee results to the state within 30 minutes after the polls close.

When tabulating the votes on election night, Broward County’s results showed significantly fewer votes than other races on the ballot—25,000. Over the next several days, election officials scrambled to add early in-person votes and absentee ballots to the count. This increased numbers for the Democrats, moving the races into recount margins.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio accused the Broward County elections office of blatantly violating state law. “No early votes have been case since Sunday,” he tweeted. “They had 2 days to tabulate them & submit to the state by 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as required by law. Yet as of latest update these are only partially completed.”

Barnett promised that Republicans are closely monitoring the recount as the canvassing boards review the ballots. “We want to make sure the Democrats don’t steal this election,” he said. “They’re trying everything they can to win even if it’s illegal.”

The Palm Beach County Democratic Party did not return inquiries by The Federalist at the time of this report.

Did you read your support article? What is says is that Bucher said a voter was a non Citizen and said the vote would not be counted. By the support article she provided no proof to support her claim so ofcourse any true American would say  count the vote. If she had solid proof fine but that is not what happened by your support article. What we see here is the Dems standing up for the average American against the Reb. drive to take their votes away. This has been going on in FL for years now and should have been stopped. Usually it is the claim by Reb. that the signature is not valid. We had one case where the clerk threw out a ballot due to signature because a space on the drivers license was not in the signed ballot. The problem was the State computer system does not use spaces even when a person does when they sign something. I will tell you they did count that vote. It shows what happens when you have untrained people reviewing signatures, and that is what is going on. If you think FL is bad move to GA and you will really see vote stealing. One report tonight says the Reb. Sec of State took 50,000 off roles so they could not vote. You see the Trump enablers in action stealing elections so Trump will become total Dictator, and the enablers doing everything they can to assist.

Blame who you want. It is rife with fraud and corruption by the democrats. Who is it that is complaining because they didn't get elected. Gullium and Nelson. Now they are attemping to change the results. Does that sound familiar? lol YES, hillary and the democrats haven't accepted the 2016 election yet.

My Grandparents voting.

I can't believe my grandparents voted Democratic this year in Ft. Lauderdale.

They NEVER would have done that when they were alive.

Poor Florida. Once again it's elections are a complete mess. The biggest reason is because the GOP has been in control down there for so many years, and they do not want things to change as usual with all of their politics. So instead they must contend with really ugly voting cycles, and this will continue until a Dem. or Indy runs the state. Its sad but no end in sight down there until things change at the top in Florida. Can't blame anyone other than the Florida GOP.

So, you are saying that the GOP monkeyed it up.  Do I understand correctly that we will know on Thursday?

Yes, as usual, it's fiction.

A lawyer not affiliated with the Dems or either Dem candidate wanted a non-citizen's vote counted. I repeat, nothing to do with Dems.

Meanwhile, the GOP has filed suit and wants to stop counting legal votes because you know, nothing says "democracy" like shutting down the polls.

Please defend that position, righties. I await your desperate squirming with anticipation.

True. Sad to say, these articles have little if any factual content, but they are at least funny most of the time.

Come on folks, it's THE FEDERALIST again.

Remember, published by a man shunned by legitimate journalism because of his repetitive plagiarism and, on top of that, rationalizes CHILD MOLESTATION as an avenue to increase the population.
