Impeachment

Why is it that, if a person is on trial, and, as the defendent, they're not allowed to speak during the trial. If they do, they're given a warning, and if they continue with their outbursts, they're either found in contempt of court, or removed from the courtroom. So, why is twitter allowing Trump (the defendent) to tweet dozens and dozens and dozens of comments: degrading the prosecutors, professing his innoncene, calling the whole procedding a sham, slamming the press . . .Isn't he the one on trial? Could someone on trial tweet things like this:?:

Excellent question. tRump not testifying shows what a faux trial the Republicans are having.
