Not the ones who don't value their rights and think it's their fault if they get raped by their daddies.

If rape and incest were off the table, would you be O.K. with abortions being off the table?

@CharMi1949

That's the first thing that comes to my mind too.  Now we are going back to the 'back alleys'.  How true, making it illegal will NOT stop abortion, just make it a crap shoot depending on how much $$$ you have.

A truly strange way of looking at things. Women do not want to change diapers (who does) - so, they want to kill the babies to avoid it.

President Trump and his Republican allies have made it easy for future historians and political scientists to understand how the gender gap exploded under his presidency. The vast majority of African American women (and men) for decades have identified with the Democratic Party, the party of civil rights, women’s rights and social welfare support. However, until the Trump presidency, the GOP had managed to hold onto white women (even Trump won 52 percent of them; by contrast he got 4 percent of African American women.) With Trump in power the GOP is now tied to a president who has offended, appalled and scared white women, most especially college-educated white women. This week is a perfect example of why that has happened.

...

Now there is an added element. There are the efforts underway in Georgia, Alabama and a slew of other states to essentially outlaw abortion. Georgia’s new law would prohibit abortions after six weeks, before many women know they are pregnant. Beyond that it’s murder under the new state law.

In Alabama, as Joyce Vance Whitepointed out in a column for The Post, the idea is to deny exceptions for rape or incest precisely so pro-lifers can set up a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade. It may come as a shock to Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), but around the country

antiabortion forces figure they’ve got their majority to overturn Roewith Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh and are racing to outdo one another in criminalizing abortion.

Your right about that!  Again, a bunch of old white men think they know what it is to be a woman......

They are so ignorant they don't realize that making abortion illegal will not stop them.  Abortions were being preformed long before Roe v Wade, and will continue even if it is overturned.  Problem is more WOMEN WILL DIE!   Of course those who have $$$ will be able to afford to pay off certain doctors to send them for an emergency procedure known as a D and C, and claim it was a miscarriage.  That is what my mom said they used to do back in the day.  Poor women who couldn't afford to pay the price either attempted a self abortion with a wire coat hanger or went to a "back alley abortionist"  (They were called "back alley" because many of them operated out of garages in the city that were entered from an alley instead of the street.),  and many of those women died.  Access to safe legal abortion is not "murder", it is life saving for women, especially for those who aren't rich.

Some abortions are necessary to save lives.  I have a relative who was pregnant with twins.  Several months into the pregnancy one of the twins was found to have a horrendous birth defect and if it made it to full term would have died anyway.  If it died in the womb, it would kill the other twin, so a "selective abortion" was performed to remove the affected twin.  The healthy twin is now a healthy boy.

I wish these old white men would educate themselves.........
