Hacking of US Energy Plants continue

Message 1 of 1

In March, there was reported in the news, that Nuclear Plants had been hacked by non-American countries ( Russia?)...and the Energy Dept ( Rick Perry) and his cronies all put out statements that not only were Nuclear Energy sites safe, but ALL  American Energy pipelines and plants were super safe....please move on.

Until, of course, those statements are known to be false.

    From Bloomberg:

A cyberattack that hobbled the operations of at least four natural gas pipeline companies starting late last week also triggered changes within the utility industry.

Duke Energy Corp., the second largest U.S. utility by market capitalization, said it first learned about the attack on March 30. Duke became concerned because it shares consumer data with dozens of third-party electricity and gas providers in Ohio through an electronic system run by Energy Services Group LLC, the data firm that was hacked.

Ignoble donald supporters will bury their heads, because donald et al have pinkey swear told them that there is no threat, that US is safe, just like all of donald's statements are truthful.      I'd say don't be stupid, but your votes prove otherwise.
