Something That Works? -The Entire GOP Argument against Obamacare was that it was collapsing because of it's cost to the government that they weren;t willing to pay for with subsidies

Yet the Republicans were willing to Pump 8 Billion into their Trumpcare Bill and they don;t even cover Pre-Existing Conditons......................................High Risk Pools that States Can Opt Out of is not Healthcare Coverage

Lets call this what it really is - A Huge Tax Cut for the Wealthiest  and the best part is next week the GOP will Tongue in Cheek say they are going to begin working on a Tax Reform Package

Tax Reform Package - they just passed one in the House yesterday

Next week they should start working on a real Healthcare Plan - One the covers all Americans - not just those who can afford to pay out of pocket to stay alive

You are missing the point. Obamare was designed to fail and will fail. So, while Republican elements are certainly worthy of discussion, the intent is to not fail and that is a positive.

Obamacare was designed to fail - where is there any proof of that - Is Trumps Border Wall Designed To Fail?

Well using your reasoning - anything the Republican controlled Congress decides - Not To Fund - Like the Border Wall or Not To Tweak Like Obamacare - Is Designed to Fail

Trumpcare is also designed to Fail because the Republican Majority in the House already knows their bill - you remember the one where all the White Guys Were Celebrating in the Rose Garden - is Dead on Arrival in the Republican Controlled Senate

The Trumpcare Bill that just won approval in the Republican Controlled House by one Vote - considers Pregnancy and Pre-Natal Care - Coverage Only Available in a Premium Trumpcare Healthcare Package - AKA - keeping the Already Rich & Politically Powerful Gene Pool Protected - Only the Wealthiest will be able to afford to have Quality Pre-natal Care

The Trumpcare Bill that just won approval in the Republican Controlled House by one Vote - Considers Rape & Domestic Violence a Pre-Existing Condition

Anyone who thinks this Trumpcare Bill is not designed to fail is not living in Reality

The Republican Controlled House just passed a Trumpcare Bill and Celebrated it - in the same manner as when Trump slings out dozens and dozens of Executive Orders with the understanding it's all simply a Photo Op and a majority of the Bills are just ceremonial and meaningless

Okayyyyyy.....so, then how about the Republicans and Democrats declare that adequate Health Care is a Citizen's Right.  Draw up legislation that says that specifically....no exceptions, no equivocal gyrations to no good purpose.

Nobody would have to argue about anything.  Just agree whether or not adequate Health Care is a right.  No Insurance BS.  No States Rights BS.  No Nationwide Underwriting BS.  IF Congress won't do it, let the people speak !  It's their Nation, it belongs to them.  In the end it is their right to choose what that Nation should be and what it should or shouldn't do.  You do agree that's a right, don't you?

Congress would have to establish some effective penalty to discourage those who seek to take away that right, Trump would have to sign it.  SCOTUS would have to concur.  That should about do it.  You'd be OK with that, right?

No more liberal/conservative crap, no more democrat/republican partisanship.  We'd all be on the same page with a common goal.  No more 'hatred'....that would make your day, right?  That would do for a start.  ALL the work and words that followed would all be positive, just as you wished it could be.  How about it?

I know, I know....It all has to be paid for.  FACT.  Adequate Health Care will cost the same spread across the entire Citizenry UNLESS you mandate the sick ones suck on a cyanide pill. That is trumpian hyperbole, of course, but hey...if it works, use it. It has to be clear by now that the citizen pays it all in the end...no one else does.  Pay now...pay later...no matter.  Pay with insurance...pay with taxes...no matter.  Pay in a clinic...pay in the ER...no matter.  It's even a little like that tax thing we talked about..not altogether, but similar.  Sound like a plan?

Who knows, if you take the lead on this one, they might even give you credit on your tombstone.

A lot of generalities about cyanide and tombstones, but this caught my eye, " FACT.  Adequate Health Care will cost the same spread across the entire Citizenry". The same as what?? Certainly not everyone pays the same.

In nations touted as "the way to go" because they have socialized medicine, there is also private insurance for those who can afford it. Might that not indicate unequal levels of care? What would be the plans for the "equalizers" here - outlaw such additional insurance?
