jimc91:  Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes appears with Maria Bartiromo for a wide-ranging discussion on a variety of current issues and events.

Devin Nunes has zero credibility beyong the diehards who will believe anything. This is an editorial by the largest newspaper in his district. They used to support him.

Rep. Devin Nunes, Trump’s stooge, attacks FBI

What, pray tell, does Rep. Devin Nunes think he’s doing by waving around a secret memo attacking the FBI, the nation’s premier law enforcement agency?

He certainly isn’t representing his Central Valley constituents or Californians, who care much more about health care, jobs and, yes, protecting Dreamers than about the latest conspiracy theory.

Instead, he’s doing dirty work for House Republican leaders trying to protect President Donald Trump in the Russia investigation.

Does jim's "poor selection of sources" mean that the Grand Jury will not be looking into it?

Devon Nunes is probably one of the biggest losers in Congress and Trump's personal flunkie. I would not be surprised to see him indicted for "Obstruction of Justice". Anything he says is meaningless.

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes appears with Maria Bartiromo for a wide-ranging discussion on a variety of current issues and events.  The interview begins with a discussion on China’s strategic economic objectives and continues into issues surrounding congressional investigations of the DOJ and FBI.

In the second half of the interview Chairman Nunes shares some insight from interviews, testimony and depositions from approximately 70 former administration officials and calls for the release of the transcripts.  According to Nunes 70 to 80% of all testimony is not classified.  The remaining 20% could be declassified for release by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Dan Coats.  The interview is in two segments:

rk - A bunch of misleading statements....

That would describe jim's link perfectly except these (as examples) are not “misleading”. They are complete lies.  Total fabrications.

*To recertify a FISA warrant four times, on a sitting President...

*When Rod Rosenstein signed the fourth renewal of the FISA warrant against President Donald Trump...

*to entrap Trump advisors, like the hapless George Papadoupolous.

Who has pled guilty to lying to the FBI.

Has he pled guilty to anything involving the campaign colluding with the Russians (the supposed purpose of Mueller)?

That is exactly what he did. Why do you think he was fined and sentenced to jail?  And why would you even comment on a subject you are ignorant of?

Papadopoulos initially told the FBI that he spoke to Mifsud, who told him about Russian “dirt” on Hillary Clinton, before he joined the Trump campaign. The conversations actually occurred after he was brought on as a foreign policy adviser.

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/09/george-papadopoulos-sentenced-to-14-days-in-jail.html

"Get Trump by any means necessary".

The usual “means” in discovering criminal activity starts at the bottom, works its way to the top. Robert Mueller is batting 1000 with guilty pleas, indictments and cooperating witnesses – to known crimes committed.

Manafort only began talking to him 5 days ago. He believed it was necessary to do so. If he leads Mueller to crimes committed by the US president, well that's the way the cookie crumbles.

The good news is no amount of propaganda, distortions, denials and outright lies by those ignorant of The Rule of Law will impede Mueller from continuing to do his job.

This story is under their "Commentary" section.  This is an OPINION by L.J. Keith.  It is not a factual story as Jimc tries to imply.  You will have to wait and see if L.J. Keith knows what he is talking about or not.  From the "facts" he uses in his OPINION, it would appear not.

Does that mean that the Grand Jury is not looking into it?

It means that what the Grand Jury is looking into is not what this Opinion piece author is stating and that his supposed "facts" have already been shown to be false.  Again an opinion piece trying to masquerade as an actual news story.
