McCain said basically the same thing this morning as well.  They know what a fool Trump is.  Trump, too, knows that he is in trouble.  Might just be the reason he's not running that big fat stupid mouth of his.

Gee, I miss having a real President!!

That collapsing sound you just heard was Trump's house of cards imploding.

Story highlights

  • The administration has not provided any information about President Donald Trump's allegations
  • Republican leaders in the Capitol have largely distanced themselves from the accusations

Sen. Lindsey Graham said Wednesday he is ready to subpoena the intelligence agencies for evidence that would prove President Donald Trump's claims that he was wiretapped last year by then-President Barack Obama.

Asked by CNN if he would subpoena for any evidence, the South Carolina Republican said, "Yes."
"All I can say is that the country needs an answer to this. The current President has accused the former President of basically wiretapping his campaign," Graham said, one day after he joined Trump for a one-on-one lunch at the White House.

Rich - "We request that the Department of Justice provide us copies of any warrant applications and court orders — redacted as necessary to protect intelligence sources and methods that may be compromised by disclosure....

....and to protect any ongoing investigations — related to wiretaps of President Trump, the Trump Campaign, or Trump Tower," Graham and Whitehouse wrote.

It's good to know the investigation dt demands for his paranoid self provides protection for the 'other' investigations where "ongoing" evidence is obviously still being compiled.

Obama said that, when he first saw Trump’s allegations on Twitter, “My first thought was, Only a narcissist on the scale of Donald Trump would think people want to hear more from him than they currently do. If anything, I think we’d all like to hear way, way less.”
