Whomever Trump hates is not the issue. is the inaction of our Congress to actually do what is right and moral. to simply cave in to the desires of a President that simply lies when is convenient to him and will simply do as he wishes.

Please don't tell me that there are no tools available for Congress to do what they should do. rebel against the Speaker of the House is one. override a veto is another. Have  they forgotten their own rules ?

I was reading a comparison between Joe McCarthy and his "witch hunts" and Donald Trump's.  McCarthy's era ended in much the same way. A few patriotic people stood up to him and his house of cards collapsed. This is all just an extension of the remaking of the Republican party. Hopefully, into a functional party again.

It sure didn't take long to get off the topic. But then post #1 strayed.

We are sorely in need of immigration reform and not just DACA. The President as offered a comprehensive plan that really should be discussed. If there are alternate solutions, fine they should be thrown into the mix. But this "let's just deal with this part" nonsense has gone on long enough.

And when he received concurrence in a plan with the Democrats he changed what he wanted. Trying to negotiate with Trump is like trying to negotiate with a two-year old.

Rk  you really have very intense disrespect for the posters of this message board. Because only you would have forgotten that Trump had done all of this before and then backed down when a reasonable plan has been presented, even with this precious. wall. so, please, don't take all us  as naive in believing that he had any intention on doing anything at all.

You're right, Riker.....he pulled the plug when the pimple on his butt, the Freedom Caucus, became irritable.

A reasoned response....thanks!  But large complex issues are often broken down to smaller issues to get resolved.  Holding DACA recipients hostage over a border wall is not "negotiating"....it's people's LIVES.

Most all of America agree's the DACA recipients should remain permanently.....it can be very easily accomplished.  The wall, not so much.  DACA should have been done years ago; so, get it done now.

Of course he does! He hates Dems.

He hates immigrants. He hates people of color. He hates women. He hates those that don’t worship him. He hates the free press. He hates our laws. He hates our country. He hates low income people. He hates education. He hates Obama. He hates the EPA.

He hates our intelligence agencies.

Why expect him to support positive programs that would help our country. And people support him?

be frosty
