A day or posted an article :   Nunes had created a Facebook page called CARepublicans.    It was billed as a "news site",  but paid for by the Nunes campaign, so like all good people who want to know what Nunes is doing when not running secret op missions for Donald, people went to check it out.     And now it is no longer available.       https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/11/devin-nunes-alternative-news-site-402097

"Funny" in a train-wreck kind of way....  Sadly, this is what Conservatives have embraced for decades, ever since Limblah took to the airways.  Fox jumped in the cess-pool and did the same, as did Hannity and others.  Twist facts, lie and intentionally mislead folks and when caught, say nothing because it's what you do.  It ties up the opponents squawking about the lies and distortion.  And guess what, most Conservatives don't care; the so-called "religious right" doesn't care.  They claim they are for "family values" but prove day in and day out, they truly aren't.  Is spousal assault a family value?  It never has been in my ifetime.  Is adultry a family value?  IMf so, since when?  What about sexually assaulting women?  Nope! How about lying at evey opportunity?  Again, not in my lifetime.  Never heard a parent at the dinner table tell their children that when caught, LIE!  When did hypocracy become a family value?  Obama is creating massive debt and it will be the downfall of the country.....our poor children and grandchildren....then cut revenue by billions each year and push the debt up 3 fold over 10 years.  So now, fiscal irresponsibility has become a "family value"?  Puh-LEEEEEZE!  Certainly they aren't THAT stupid.

So...let's suppose they are THAT stupid.  That means one thing.  Now...let's suppose they aren't THAT stupid, do it anyway, and think nothing of it.  That means something entirely different, even though the results are the same.  One can be fixed, the other cannot.

Well....maybe it can, truth be known, but Liberals usually stop short of doing that kind of stuff.  'The other side' once exercised some restraint....it no longer does.
