Someone else speaking for God?  "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."  Matthew 7:15-21.  "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits Ye shall know them by their fruits.

So we are supposed to feel guilty because of the color of the skin we were born with?

Then how come right wingers get their panties in such a twist whenever a confederate statue is removed? It's been noted that there aren't statues for the slaves, and the KKK ruined the one for Kunta Kinte in two days (it wasn't even a statue, just a plaque). So who's really doing all the wallowing? Those that applaud defending the practice of slavery need to, and do, have their visual reminders everywhere.

If it's "white guilt" that has no problem discussion America's racist past, then it must be "white pride" that wants to keep it silent.

Sure can help you understand the truth. @cent.............I agree with you on this partially. Some books that have been written are not true and do not stand the course of time. I do believe the Bible is truth and has stood as a guideline for Christians over countless years. Before you go off on a rant about Christians, please know that all who profess to be Christians are not and those of you who attempt to determine who is and who is not do not have the power to do this. That's God's job and most likely He frowns on those who throw these stones.

Yes, segregation was the law and it was legally ended a half century ago. Ending it WAS the remedy and the continuing oversight and legal actions insure the law is obeyed.

And Cornel West isn’t racist. He’s super socialist and as close to antifa as you will ever find. He distrusts all authority.  Including Obama, whom he called a Republican in black face and the first “ni******ized black President.”  He said Obama catered to Wall Street and did nothing to dismantle structural racism.

His political ideology may be as you describe but that has nothing to do with his racism - or his use of racism to further his career.

There are tons of data showing blacks were historically arrested on purpose to keep them “under control” and to further legal slave labor (prisoners don’t have to be paid), and that whites commit the same drug offenses in general, at times more frequently, and have a much lower arrest rate.  It’s all in the book.

As previously posted, there is the claim that it is racism that calls for harsher punishment for crack. But those making the claim overlook the fact that the increased penalties for crack were requested (and received) by the CBC.

Read the books or don’t argue about them. Your opinions are factually incorrect. Those who are intolerant of different views would NEVER take the time to read/learn anything other than what supports their ignorance.  It's the same with mass media.  Do devout msnbc viewers watch Fox?  Do Fox vuewers watch msnbc?  Do you think Limblah listeners sit and listen to Rachel Maddow?

Are you saying that the increased penalties for crack were not at the request of the CBC?  Are you saying the overwhelming white majority GOP Congress did not pass the law?  FACT:   "Many of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus did try to get rid of some of the more punitive elements in the bill, but in the end they decided to go with the president and support the final bill."

Black Americans Supported the 1994 Crime Bill, Too

But most know it was Reagan who signed the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 into law, the one that created the crack-cocaine disparity, And you don't???

Reading opinion books does not change truth. Sure can help you understand the truth.

This imaginary condition "White Guilt" - wonder where it comes from. Obvviously the GOPerLords are the ones distributing it, else how could so many dupes come up wit hthe same thing at the same time.

My bet is this is another gift to Der Trumper and the GOPers from thei BFFs in the KGB/FSB. It's a great divider, telling bigots they are okay with their racism - its those namby pambys who are ashamed of THEIR racist behavior - like exposing Nazis, and the new Jim Crow disguised as Vote Fraud Prevention.

So it should be no surprise that an ardent trump supporter would make such a racist and ignorant (void of facts) comment.

Education, Not Income, Predicted Who Would Vote For Trump

Trump Won Because Voters Are Ignorant, Literally

RESEARCH FINDS THAT RACISM, SEXISM, AND STATUS FEARS DROVE TRUMP VOTERS

but i believe it does them a disservice to consider them to still be in need or your help against the rest of us simply because of the color of their skin.  Wrong again, because they are "people" who never had the opportunity to take advantage of their "white privilege" or your whiteness. The disservice is what bigots and ignorance contribute to society.

Again - pure "white guilt".

Besides permanent underclass albeit protected status by the privileged (but compassionate) white "Massa" - what is your solution?

Are you seriously - Are. You. Seriously. - claiming that black people aren't "mistreated" now simply because of their race?? That speaks to a level of ugly denial that I refuse to waste any more time on. (Here's a little hint for ya though, the same mistreatment black people still can't escape isn't reserved just for black people, because Jews, Asians, Hispanics, Muslims, and any other non-WASP all get their fair share, just ask Squirrel Hill.)

And nobody said a thing about HATING the Japanese. If that's the first place you go when thinking about Dec. 7th, that's an even uglier level.

Yes, in the past.

Slavery was ended well over a century ago, segregation was ended a half century ago, Civil Rights legislation was enacted a half century ago and constantly improved.

Mistreatment - yes "people" are mistreated by others for a variety of wrong reasons.

Dec. 7th when brought up in the context of this discussion - what else would one infer?

It is sick to spend one's life wallowing in guilt over the actions of others.
