It's not a matter of time - it's a matter of attempting the impossible.

It's not possible to educate those on the right.

They are even now performing the equivalent of plugging their ears and loudly repeating "lalalalalala I can't hear you".

Their cognitive dissonance makes it very literally impossible for them to rationally consider, much less impartially examine anything but the prejudiced and bigoted rationalizations that support their stance.

Facts?  Fact checking?  They summarily dismiss them all.

Right you are, crep!  Many cities are facing a similar crises....Miami, New Orleans, Minneapolis, DC and many others.

Which cities feel the effects of climate change the most?

pssst, Tex, Crep didn't say it was trumps fault the problem exists, just that he "turned a blind eye'.  And by the way, Obama did plenty; much of which was undone by trump.

Ok, what had Obama done to alleviate the problem?  And saying that someone who has only been in office since January has 'turned a blind eye' indicates that he should have already done something.  In so many words it's playing the blame game.

And again, what has the state of Louisiana done?  The state is the one who controls oil exploration within their borders, but of course it is the Corps of Engineers who controls the bayous and waterways.  But there would be nothing done there if not for oil exploration.

Of course it's the partisan way to blame this on an administration that has only been in office for four months rather than the favored one that had eight years to do something about it.

And what has Trump undone about the problem of coastal encroachment of the Louisiana bayous?  You an expert on those bayous also?

For information, it will take at least four years for the withdrawal from the Paris accords to be fully accomplished, and even at that procedures can be reversed.

Trump has only been in office since January and he is responsible for all that?  What happened during Obama's administration?  He didn't do anything?  It's been heading that way since the 1930's but it's Trump's fault?  Whether one supports him or not, why place the blame on him, and why hasn't previous administrations been doing something?

What are the people in Louisiana doing to alleviate the problem?

It was obvious what Trump would try to do once in office and he is trying to do most of that. It was also obvious what a liar and   m o r o n  he is about many things. Going against what 80% of Americans (and the rest of the world) want is sadly amazing.
