Nor did Fox. That little gem came from thinkprogress.
The tweet reported on Fox was either a hack vis Ted Cruz liking porn ( i like it but if i was running for office i wouldt say so ) or, the woman may not be all there. I like the term carceral state tho. It fits for a nation that incarcerates more of its citizens than any other.

The tweet on from the ABC guy which was part of the Fox report and is this topic was clearly about looters.

The tweet from Sarah Jaffe was clearly about the supposed racism of the prison system.

How did you manage to slip your attention to porn??

That's often the case when one prefers to dodge the points and talk "past" others.  It's the result of those proficient in the, "well, what about...." technique, like Putin, trump and Limblah....

Yup. Seeing all "people as people" is just a dream at this point. People that "dont see color/gender" are blind to the injustices, and we see the blindness daily in their comments. I believe seeing people as people ( We call them all  fellow workers ) is a goal I wont see in my lifetime sadly..but i do my best to live it. Being the generation I am, and how and where I grew up, Ive advocated civil rights since i was 14 or so ( was a country bumpkin til then). When us normals see suspected injustice, we investigate and and boy do we find the cause is racial/gender/class almost every time. Recognizing my white priveledge doesnt mean i have white guilt, it means its my job to make sure EVERYONE  has that same level. there is no reason the USA cannot achieve that. Recognizing race/gender/nationality/orientation differences is part of the awareness us normals need to fight that fight.

Of course attack injustice when you see it. But, when the thought process is dominated by seeing race, gender, etc. and ASSUMING injustice you can never get to the equality state you and I desire - the constant conflict, the constant victimology stands in the way.

As in all things, I believe in balance. As you said, if you see a problem, certainly try to help. But this constant looking for trouble is not useful for the "end product" of equality you seek.

A good example - look at this topic - the comments about the despicable actions of the looters taking advantage of a tragedy. Who can support such actions?? Yet, who does some of out posters dump on? The looters? - no. Fox News for reporting it.

You are very welcome. I am always delighted to help with the understanding of logic.

Now, if you mean that comment about all being treated equally - are we in agreement that any preferences based on race given for school admissions, jobs, or promotions is inappropriate - maybe even "racist"?

Those short-sighted folks with the, "it's all about me, and what I want and what I want now" crew see's equality in very simplistic terms.

You're on the wrong topic. This is about how we see others. Some see others as people; others see them in terms of race, gender, national origin, sexual preference, arc.  And again, the elitist attitude of, "I am better than you because I see all people as "people".

Of course, these are the same folks who have never been slighted due to their gender or race in their lives.

a) the all knowing, "I know everything about everyone" approach so common among the elitists of the left.   And again, the elitist attitude of, "I am better than you because I can see you're "all knowing".

b) most people do not hold a grudge so as to go through life with a chip on their shoulders. Others don't ever grow up.  And again, the elitist attitude of, "I am better than you because I can see your faults".

If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be sad. These are the same who whine incessantly about "white guilt" and have no clue that they are exhibiting and defending "white priveldge".

And again, the elitist attitude of, "I am better than you because I can see your faults".And again, the elitist attitude of, "I am better than you because I can see your faults and I'll say it again, and again, and again.
