It's so nice to see an objective Republican posting here, sp.  Thank you.  Reading posts here from the Right one can easily fool themselves to think all Reps are political bigoted with an inability to think objectively.  But obviously the fact is, many can, they just don't post here much.  So, thank you for being a breath of fresh air for the forum and showing some Republicans actually care about FACTS.

White supremacists, KKK, bigotry, the Right, Nazis, and Republicans - all clutter. Yep, reality is clutter to a closed mind.

The topic is the truth that the President was responding to comments about MS-13 when he made his  "animals" comment and the left went bonkers accusing him of calling all illegals animals. trump has a history of provocative language and spewing bigoted and misogynist comments.  He's rarely clear or specific and is why so many of his communication staff have come and gone.  They are constantly tell us what he means when it's often more coded language for his base.  I agree the left went overboard on his comment about MS-13....many understood; but that's reflective of a poor communicator with a bigoted and hate-filled past.

So is the topic about MS-13 or trumps words?  Which is it now?  You seem to jump back and forth depending on who you respond to.  The reported behavior of some MS-13 members is horrendous and vile; not much different than the behavior of the KKK and Nazi's.....all clutter to those who are indifferent to white gangs.

There are not 11 million MS-13 members so your point is .... well .... pointless.

Der Truimper and the NRAGOP are using MS-13, most of whom are US Citizens, as representative of 11 million undocumented immigrants, most of whom are less likely to commit crimes than US citizens. To pretend otherwise in a futile attempt to disguise this ing hate is latest racist, xenophobic dogwhistle to his base is...well...Republican.

Again the racism of the left is on display. An inability to see MS-13 hoodlums as other than "undocumented" Latinos is truly sad. Of course, once again the poster shows they have no understanding of the term "racism".  Rather sad in this day and age.  Of course, one who is "obstinately devoted to the own biased views and predjudices" they wouldn't bother doing any reasearch.  If they did, they would learn all MS-13 members aren't undocumented immigrants....but why bother?  iSpewing hate is what they prefer....

What would you call lumping all brownskinned people together as opposed to being individuals? I think "racism" fits pretty well.  And the poster you responded to didn't do that.  Though YOU lumped all MS-13 members together.  Racist?  Naw.  Bigoted? Yep.

As to "undocumented" - that is true. If you claim it's true that ALL MS-13 members are "undocumented" then it would be very easy for you to prove.  But, you can't..... That is why the topic is about MS-13 thugs, no one else. Yet you claimed it was about "immigrants" earlier.  Yet some have tried to lump them into some brownskinned mass - hence the word "racism".  Yes, as Scout posted, trump wants racists to believe MS-13 are reflective of many brownskinned immigrants.  It is racist; you're just blaming the wrong person. The racists just shrug....they don't care that trump feeds racism in this country.  He speaks for them.

Actually, the poster that Soosie started this topic with claims that Democrats are upset with him for calling MS-13 animals.  I have not seen anybody complaining about that.  I have seen complaints with posters claiming he called all illegals "animals" (in the context of his comments, I personally don't believe he did).  Who on here has been defending MS-13?

As far as your stating in your post that:  “most informed people know immigrants have a far lower crime rate than non-immigrants,”  perhaps you should do a little further research.

Centrist is correct.  Studies have shown that immigrants commit less crimes than citizens.  Anything published by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is not worth the paper it is printed on.  They are partisan, biased and are classified as an extreme right HATE group.

Their presence here is a crime. LOL.....typical.

Yes, it is typical. The comment was about "immigrants" not MS-13. And also typical - cover the lack of understanding with a phony laugh. So NOW your claiming being an immigrant is a crime?  LOL.....You just can't make this up. Not so. It would seem you can make this stuff up and hen argue with it.

The poster sounds as if he knows each and every MS-13 member personally and KNOWS they are all illegal immigrants.  How does he know all of this?  He's a Fox viewer and Limblah listener....they know everything about everyone....LMAO!!!

The poster does not have to know each and every MS-13 member to know the meaning of the term "illegal". Maybe one should learn about a subject before making sweeping bigoted comments.  Ya think? Agreed - that was my point in the word racism.

And again, the childish reference to Fox and Limbaugh as well as another phony laugh. Fox and Limblaugh are childish?  OK....I might be able to actually agree with you on that.  Lying and deceipt can often be described as childish....it is 2nd grade behavior.  Thanks for the reminder. Concentrate - no one said Fox and Limbaugh are childish.

Gave you a break, "rk".  It's easy to whine about the  "LMAO" and avoid the substance as you prefer.

This from someone unable to discern between "illegal" and MS-13. Wrong again.....being an MS-13 gang member is not illegal in America.  But I'd bet many bigots believe it is. I saw no such claim here. You may be fighting with yourself.

The same thing I said to Texas Grandpa.  Anything written by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is not worth the paper it is printed on.  They are a biased, partisan organization that has made up and misreported facts.  Come up with facts from another source and we can talk.  CIS is just a bunch of partisan hate mongers who make up stastics to match their agenda.

Ok, are not your comments also partisan?  Can you come up with facts and sources that you can show to be more accurate?  Until you can and can prove that this source is a biased, partisan organization then your allegations has no basis and is also partisan.

But are you instead defending the MS-13 organization and saying it is not a criminal organization?  Sounds like you are defending them.

Look at the statistics in the post I responded to from CIS.  Question, since ICE does not keep statistics by gang (look it up), where did these figures come from?  The answer is simple, CIS made them up to support their own position.

From mediabiasfactcheck:  "

QUESTIONABLE SOURCE

A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, overt propaganda, poor or no sourcing to credible information and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for the purpose of profit or influence (Learn More). Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact checked on a per article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the notes section for that source. See all Questionable sources.

Bias: Extreme Right, Hate Group

Notes: The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is a non-profit research organization “that favors far lower immigration numbers and produces research to further those views.” It was started as a spin-off from John Tanton’s Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) in 1985. Reports published by the CIS have been widely deemed misleading and riddled with basic errors by scholars on immigration; think tanks from across the ideological and political spectrum; media of all stripes; several leading nonpartisan immigration-research organizations; and by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The organization has also drawn criticism for its financial and intellectual ties to extremist racists. The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) published reports in 2002 and 2009 connecting CIS to John Tanton, who helped found various other organizations, including the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and NumbersUSA, and showing he has ties to white supremacy groups and a eugenics foundation (SPLC). Bottom line, this is a hate group. (2/8/2017)"

What CIS produces is little more than propaganda.
