Interfering with a criminal investigation is NOT oversight. It borders on obstruction of justice.

How is wanting periodic progress reports "interfering"? And how is justice obstructed by reports?

When you provide those reports to the one being investigated.

A truly strange question.

Especially when one provides information to the one being investigated in the cloak of darkness.

LMAO....you just have to laugh at the idiocy suggesting Rob Rosenstein is the "deep state".  More of fascist trumps minions interfering with justice.

Interesting, the Congress Members seeking information from a Deputy A/G are "fascists" and "minions".  Nope....just the bozo who claims Rosenstein was part of the faux "red state".

Draft Resolution Creating Red Line for Rosenstein

Trump Cult members insist upon proving how ignorant they are on many issues. Just in case they haven't noticed, the Mueller team has not issued one update. RK doesn't understand this, but that's how criminal investigations work. The goal is to conduct an entire investigation secretely.

Obviously RK doesn't understand the above. But I would bet a ton of money, if HIllary was under investigation, he would not want any updates until the investigators completed their investigation.

I'm guessing Jim hasn't noticed, but the House investigation, and I use the word investigation gingerly, was not in fact legitimate. Devon Nunes and company have two goals and neither one of them is Congressional Oversight.

1. Learn as much about the FBI investigation so Devon Nunes can run over to Trump's office and give his daddy the info.

2. Their main goal is doing anything they can to undermine and/or block the investigation.

What specifically do you see in the request for documents as "interfering with an investigation"?

The committee is also conducting an investigation and needs the requested documents as part of it.  They are investigating the possible abuse of power.

Well if congress was investigating her (that's what I was talking about to clear up your obvious confusion) I suppose they would give themselves progress reports. LOL

What is funny about the Congress wanting reports from investigative agencies?

The Congress created the DOJ some years ago and has the responsibility of oversight.  Since when does the DOJ run roughshod over the Congress?  There is something wrong here that really needs to be corrected in order to restore the publics' faith in the system.  IMO of course...

RK asked, "What is funny about the Congress wanting reports from investigative agencies?"

It's not funny, demandng updates is pathetic. Criminal investigations are supposed to be conducted in secret where nobody receives periodic updates.
