Dr. Fauci to Media: Stop Trying to Pit Me Against Trump

Dr. Fauci to Media: Stop Trying to Pit Me Against Trump

he media has been trying their hardest to create a rift between President Donald Trump and Dr. Fauci, because even during a global pandemic no anti-Trump clickbait is beneath them.

“Dr. Anthony Fauci is losing patience with President Donald Trump — and the feeling may be mutual” opened one article at the New York Daily News. “The nation’s top pandemic doctor expressed growing frustration with Trump’s handling of the crisis, which has included equal doses of false claims and unfounded rosy predictions” they continued.

“Task force health expert contradicts Trump about coronavirus vaccine timing” headlined a CNN article. In the article we learn that Trump said a vaccine could take between a couple of months and a year to develop, while Fauci clarified that while the vaccine could be made within that time-frame, but it wouldn’t be then immediately deployable. That’s the contradiction.

Meanwhile the Business Insider “reported” that the animosity is growing in both directions, and that Trump is “reportedly” frustrated with Dr. Fauci’s “blunt approach” during press conferences.

Everyone quoted above isn’t reporting the news. They’re writing fan fiction.

In reality, there’s a greater rift between Dr. Fauci and the media than there is between him and Trump.

During a recent interview, Fauci said:

That is really unfortunate — I would wish that would stop because we have a much bigger problem here than trying to point out differences. There really fundamentally at the core … are not differences. The president has listened to what I have said and what the other people on the task force have said. When I have made recommendations he has taken them,” Fauci added. “The idea of just pitting one against the other is just not helpful.

He’s had enough!

Dr: Fauci to the media:
I wish you would stop trying to create a rift between me and @realDonaldTrump, there is none, you are not helping us, I wish you would stop!

The Reagan Batallion made a solid point in a followup tweet – that if the media truly believes that Trump is incompetent, why on Earth would they try to create a rift between him and Dr. Fauci? Perhaps because they’re more than willing to sacrifice the well-being of the American people – but only if it damages President Trump.

Hopefully the ratings are worth it.

A few years ago I was driving through the Ozarks, took a wrong turn, and wound up in Hatred Hills. Nice people.

Why does the media promote hate and divisiveness all the time? It's a rhetorical question.

The ill affects of 2016 election defeat at the hands of then candidate Trump, is like a tatoo on the loons of the left and the media. ... it just won't wash off and go away.

Much worse than covid-19.

Fauci does not seem to hate. He just seems to be resigned to working with a moron.

@Richva  That picture says it all.

Dr. Fauci has been the voice of truth and expertise.

In another interview he said he couldn't jump out and contradict the misinformation although he did one time.  I have stopped watching these propaganda events.

Economy more important than health to the administration and if the Lt. Gov of Texas has his way, we seniors will die to protect it.  (That's what he said, yes, not fake news.)
