Are we being asked to believe that bannon found God and righteousness?

No, he's just another slithery snake, only concerned about himself and covering his own rear.
Has he denounced the treatment of children at the border, worshipping dictators, voters rights, or Country over party? Didn't think so! But if he wants to throw trump under bus, it's okay with me.

Steve Bannon said in an interview that when he was at the White House in 2017, he was involved in an effort to remove an intelligence officer suspected of being the Trump whistleblower from the National Security Council due to concerns about leaks.

“When I was in the White House there was a number of people in the National Security Council — the named individual eventually got let go, I believe because people were suspicious, not me, but other people around him were suspicious about his leaking, and that’s why he was let go,” Bannon, who served as White House strategist through August 2017, said in an interview with VICE published Friday.

The whistleblower, who is reported to be a CIA analyst, filed a complaint on Aug. 12 accusing President Donald Trump of abusing his office in his dealings with Ukraine.

Bannon said he does not believe that the whistleblower needs to be identified publicly, but he did confirm his involvement in efforts to remove an individual now rumored to be the whistleblower from the NSC.

“I don’t think the individual naming of the whistleblower is important, although there was a story in The Washington Times … that tied me to the efforts to get, at least, the gentleman who was named out of the National Security Council,” said Bannon, who left the White House on Aug. 18, 2017.

“Is that true?” a VICE reporter asked Bannon.

“The individual that was named, absolutely true,” he replied.

Multiple conservative media outlets have identified a former NSC official who handled Ukraine issues as the possible whistleblower. The Daily Caller News Foundation has not confirmed that the individual is the whistleblower.

Bannon did not name the individual during his VICE interview and said he does not think it is necessary to publicly identify the person. But he did confirm that he was involved in efforts to remove the alleged whistleblower from the NSC.

Bannon asserted that the background and motivations of the whistleblower are far more important than the individual’s identity.

“You don’t need to name the person. I do believe you need a thorough of his intentions, relationships he’s had, etc.,” Bannon said.

“I think it’s important to see the mentality and intent of people who did this,” he added.

Bannon did not respond to the DCNF’s request for additional comment.

Trump and House Republicans have called for the whistleblower to be identified and testify before Congress. Trump has accused the whistleblower of distorting what was said in a July 25 phone call with Ukraine’s president that is at the center of the complaint.

Democrats have countered that the whistleblower’s identity is now irrelevant because many of the allegations in the complaint have been corroborated by other witness testimony.

Lawyers for the whistleblower have argued that the whistleblower could be in physical danger if they are identified.

Why did you post the article?  What does it have todo with this. Nothing. It does show that Mob Boss Trump and his lackeys were doing what all Mob Bosses do and that is get rid of anyone who does not support them. Trump and the lackeys were new then talking small steps to see how far they could go, and they got away with mob type actions then. The mob does kill people who tell on the mob, and that is what Trump and the lackeys were working toward. This time they got caught. What the whistle blower reported was true, and have been backed up by facts from others who had the courage to defy the mob and tell the truth. All you prove with this article is that Trump did it, and got caught just like Stone did. The mob bosses, and their lackeys are yellow to the core and when the law closes in the squeal like a caught pig, and that is what is happening now. The next step is when the Mob boss goes on trial we will see Banon do to Mob Boss Trump just what he did to lackey Stone. Throw him into jail.

Gee, John.  It looks like Jim believes one can get someones "complete thoughts" in a 30 minute interview.  I thought Steve Bannon had far more breadth and depth in him.  Maybe Jim was assessing MOST other Conservatives....

As he so likes to say....."so funny".

Too Funny!

You are keeping me in stitches today by illustrating the depth of your knowledge and understanding.  Here are several COMPLETE thoughts from Steve Bannon to help your understanding concerning Steve Bannon...

What is too funny is you forgot again. Steve just testified against Roger Stone and sent him to jail. Steve turned against Trump. Steve is the two guys you said were of great help to Rudy, and both are now indited. Now you have confirmed your depth and understanding of Steve is very limited just like with Rudy handelers.

You too???

Consider watching the above interview fro a couple days ago and get yourself up to speed...

It was a few days ago, and was false then, and if you watched TV was proven false after she put her lies out there. Steve Bannon was a major factor why Roger Stone is going to jail, and Steve Bannon will tell all to the court on Trump just as he did on Roger. You understand none of this, but that is typical of the Trump supporters. How can you support a person who raped their own wife? Please explan that to all of us.
