So when the voters in those areas saw depression in their cities and the inaction in D.C. to help them, they turned to Trump, Ryan said. To get them back, Democrats must “focus in Congress” on “the people who work hard, play by the rules, and bust your rear end — whether you’re a teacher, a cop, a firefighter or a steelworker.”

One way to do so, Ryan advocated, is crafting and enacting a massive rebuilding plan for the nation’s heartland.

President Trump is on the JOB and HELP is on the way.

Yep, help is on the way and his name is Mueller !!!!

You may be right. It is entirely possible that the forces of "Oh how I hate Trump" will overwhelm the forces of "What's best for America".

Time will tell. Or as you like to phrase it "tic-toc".

Well there is a report on the Internet this afternoon that Harley Davidson is moving its 2 plants that make its products to Thailand due to Trump. Lets have our far right check this out and let us know the full story.

Is there no shame?

Are we now using PEOPLESWORLD.ORG as a resource?

It used to be called People's Daily World.

It came about when THE DAILY WORKER, the AMERICAN COMMUNIST PARTY'S newspaper on the east coast merged with THE DAILY PEOPLE'S WORLD, the AMERICAN COMMUNIST PARTY'S newspaper on the west coast.

THE COMMUNIST PARTY, REALLY???????????????

They will stoop to absolutely anything.

@jimc91,

I find it quite sobering how you have tied a dying industry (coal) with an industry important to the defense of the United States (steel) with THE COMMUNIST PARTY.

Your resource, the mouthpiece for THE COMMUNIST PARTY in the United States, writes its op-eds from, of course, THE COMMUNIST PARTY'S point of view. THE COMMUNIST PARTY'S point of view is probably a point of view that neither a coal miner or a steel worker would admit to.

So, that begs the question....... why did YOU, YOURSELF, use THE COMMUNIST PARTY'S mouthpiece for your facts.

You do understand that THE COMMUNIST PARTY'S record on spewing factual material is quite poor, aren't you.

Why did you agree with THE COMMUNIST PARTY'S point of view?????

  • The Republicans are many times better than the Dems at mass marketing
  • They learned that if you repeat a lie over and over (on Fox), blue collar people will believe it. That's the same technique Hitler's "Master of Propaganda", Joseph Goebbels used.
  • Blue collar people rarely question or challenge what they hear on Fox. For example, about 2-3 months ago Easy Ed incredibly told us that Trump would NOT benefit from the new GOP tax plan which was aimed at blue collar workers and the middle class.
  • That's how millions of blue collar people actually wind up believing that an ultra ego-maniac billionaire actually cares about them. Mass marketing can convince them of anything.

The above seems to sum up the thinking of the left - we country bumpkins are so stupid that we are easily manipulated. And, of course Fox and Hitler get honorble mention. They may have a point. After all, we do not post with all the depth of "trump sucks".

And their solution - well obviously information control is important (Fox, Limbaugh, etc.) so let the federal government control what we are allowed to see and hear. Once that is dealt with the Marxist  program of indoctrination can progress.

Then, once the brains have been washed, we can to go forward to the theory that the government owns everything and decides who gets what.

That should solve the problems - right?

LOL...  So please explain how the steel workers and the coal miners seem to support Trump, because he does not care?

As usual you are just wrong.

There is a difference in those blue collar workers supporting Trump and the Democrats standing up for the blue collar workers.  The Democrats do the right thing regardless of support and Trump only looks for optics.
