Re: Democrats presidential debate .....the giveaway Olympics

I seem to never agree with Meghan McCain from The View, but this time I did.

Meghan McCain Calls Tulsi Gabbard ‘the most composed and authentic’ in the first Debate.

McCain, a co-host of “The View” who is known for her Republican and conservative outlooks, praised Gabbard on Twitter but the tweet was initially removed from her account.

“Tulsi and I literally couldn’t disagree on more (and she fundraised off of my name for calling her out on her relationship with Assad) BUT so far she’s coming across the most composed and authentic,” McCain wrote.

Gabbard’s sister, Vrindavan, who was running the candidate’s Twitter page during the debate, posted a screenshot of McCain’s tweet. Vrindavan said McCain, “displayed a moment of courage to tweet this out before deleting it. Tulsi's lived a lifetime of courage - and she won't cave to establishment pressure.”

“Didn’t mean to delete,” McCain responded. “We disagree on everything but you did well in the debate.” She then reposted the original tweet to her official page.

For me, this was THE Highlight of the Debate....

Did anyone else notice how many times the candidates referred to the "CRISIS AT THE BORDER" last night during the debate?

Just 3 short weeks ago they were saying there is NO crisis.  It's a manufactured crisis...

The direction of the wind changed I suppose.

I found the debate to be rather boring...

@CriticalThinking

So Jim asks how what you listed was relevant?...let us count the ways, these are all the ideals which the repubs no longer stand for because of trump! These are all highly debatable, and are like throwing gifts to the Dems, who can speak about all things which they support, one of which is not supporting trump!

Or him destroying all that was good about our Country. He has not made America great again, but has been intent

on running it into the ground.

Too funny!

Who will win the “CAPTAIN GIVAWAY” award tonight?  This should be very interesting...

It's not available having already been won by the GOP tax giveaway to the 1% (remember, that's the one that added over 1T to the deficit). Sorry.

Everybody has their own perpsective on the different political parties. Here's my take:

Remember when the Republican Party, before Trump, stood for:

  • smaller government
  • reducing the deficit
  • free trade / no tariffs
  • supporting our NATO allies
  • supporting law enforcement
  • supporting "the rule of law"

@CriticalThinking , How is this relevent in a thread that is about the democrat debate?

It isn't but at least you didn't hear the cult drivel again.
