And, because of your obsession with GOPers, Oligarchs, GOPerLords, and now Ayn Rand you think the answer is an all powerful central government that owns all the money and decides who gets what.

Not a good idea.

You know, it really is amazing how similar these rants are to when Castro was denouncing the Capitalist system.  They have no reference to the problem or the fact that other countries have put the solutions on the free market for all to judge and try.  If the solution does not meet the political correctness of their dogma, it simply can not be considered.   I wonder how many conservatives have Che posters hidden somewhere?

Castro opposed Ayn Rand????

I agree, he did approve of the Government controlling all the money.

Listening to or believing anyone that believed what trump said, voted for him, or is a trump supporter - is a very bad idea - as bad as believing trump, giuliani, butina, pence, cohen, manafort and 62 million right wingers...

GOOD! It's long past time they did so.

The rich and Uberrich have taken a great deal more than they paid for over the last 32 years - proof is the wonderful infrastructure that was left us by our parents and grandparents is laying in ruins while the middle class hasn't had a pay raise in decades and those who complain about how unfair life might become gave themselves undeserved pay hikes of over 300%.

WEALTH is NOT income - wealth is the ability to draw on FUTURE income, income is just cash, a medium of exchange and very poor store of value.

Nobody will reduce a single bit of WEALTH by reinstating the preReagan tax brackets (adjusted for inflation) but INCOME will redistribute itself as those dividing the profits created by the workers realize they can no longer just keep it all for themselves. Worked like a charm every time we did it, unlike the dribble down fairytale beloved by GOPers which has NEVER worked and neve will.

No snowflakes involved. No one took anything from you. No fairytale involved. It is about no more than your desire to use the central government to seize the property of some citizens and distribute among others.

Not even close. It's about the GOPerLords systematic destruction of the Middle Class so they can install a Corporate Oligarchy to rule over the 99%. It's also about the GOPers in that 99% who mistakenly think they will somehow avoid becoming feudal serfs in the Brave New World they help to build with every Republican they vote for. Hope they someday realize Ayn Rand was a write of FICTION, before their core belief that she was actually a Prophet ends our democracy

Here's a nickel kid, go buy yourself a better set of economic policies.

There are two issues getting conflated here.

Economic policies - free market capitalism vs a government controlled economy, either Communist or fascist.

Then there is the idea of ownership. The one being questioned here involves private ownership vs government ownership which permits wealth redistribution.

In each case, the discussion is really not about 100% one way or the other. It is about the degree to which the relationship between the government and the governed operates in one direction or the other.

Your well thought out and rational response, is wasted on those who despise wisdom.
