I see the key element in your post - "FREE". That is just what the radical left wants is FREE, with someone else paying their share! Aren't YOU capable of towing your own dead weight?

Impossible to have a rational discussion with someone who thinks Ayn Rand was and economist instead of a writer of sleazy fiction.

But from your rabid reply, we can all see you have no actual refutation of the FACT the EU is doing WONDERFULLY thanks to all those "democratic socialist" programs like FAIRER TAXES THAT PAY FOR free universal medical care, free college education, significantly better k-12 education, wonderful infrastructure, very affordable, reliable and compared to what we have, luxurious public transportation, shorter workweeks, more paid vacation days, paid maternaty leave, protection from outsourcing, safer foods, safer streets, cleaner cities and NO TEABAGGERS.

A survey the GOPers did after they too kcontrol of the House showed that voters overwhelmingly wanted their new Congress to work on JOB CREATION. That wasn't what GOPers wanted to hear, so they ignored the poll and proceded to obstruct everything President Obama tried to do.

Here's the inescapable reality: Nobody in the Private Sector is going to "add jobs" UNTIL there is unsatisfied demand in the economy to support those jobs. That demand MUST be for increased consumption of goods and services.

Since the average Uberrich 1%er lives like a king on 30% of their current after tax income, investing the 70% in existing stocks bonds and realestate that create no demand for goods and services outside Wall Street, giving more tax cuts to the 1% has done nothing - EVER - to spur increased consumer demand.

However, redirecting some of that 70% into public works - roads, bridges, schools, ports, airports, dams, channels, parks - will create good jobs for Americans. Those jobs have paychecks that will be spent NOT on existing stocks and bonds, but on dinner out, new clothes for the kids, bigger TVs, newer cars, all of which will increase the need for production. At first, that production will come from overtime, then from "outsourcing" and finally, if the demand is sustained long enough, by expanding plant and equipment and HIRING MORE WORKERS.

Had the stimulious program continued, we'd be out of the jrbush Great Recession, and had we paid for it by repealing the Reagan taxscam, we'd have a surplus in the Federal budget. Instead, Republicans killed the stimilus before the increased demand was able to trigger increased production.

You need to be better informed before you go into your rants....but they do show how you have been "had" by _______. (you fill in the blank as it could be many groups)

Au Contraire moi kiddo, it is YOU who require actual information. Everything I've posted is fact - The GOPers survey showed people voted for GOPers because they HOPED the GOP would create jobs, we have never gotten out of an economic recession by cutting taxes on the rich, Government spending during economic downturns has always had a very positive effect on the economy and for the last 30 years the Reagan taxscam has done nothing but redistribute money from the middle class to the very top of the 1%.

[chas] Why do you bring up "the taxing of economic activity"? Bogus of you since no one has suggested that.

You've seen no proposals to increase corporate and capital gains taxes??

[grey] A tax should never be set at a level that generates government debt.

Increasing government debt decreases customer-spending in our economy.

That “decrease” forces our private sector companies to lay-off.

But we cannot forget that debt is a function of taxing and spending. It is the result of an imbalance.

The basic underpinning of the economic health of a nation is the economy itself.

No one has yet shown how increasing the taxing of economic activity helps grow that economy.

Frankly there is not need to for you to attack any poster, just because you don't happen to aggree with them. Besides unless you have read this individual tax returns, there is not way that you can actually verify what you are saying about him.

Having paid more tax in a single year than you have in your worthless lifetime I find your comment not only offensive, but absurd. The "someone else" who pays for all those things in the EU is "everybody else", which is why rational people form societies, unlike Republicans who detest social involvement and seek only to destroy anything not built to make a profit for the builders.

I am sure that the Moderators will actually see your mistake. if not, I will make them aware of it.

Some posters sure seem to be thin skinned, and it's funny that they dish out worse things their self.
