As soon as they get finished paying off that created by liberal Democrats for their socialistic programs.  Yes intelligent people have been complaining about those programs.

No, it's another trump lied again and the uneducated who voted for him have no idea that America will be greatly harmed.

Education, Not Income, Predicted Who Would Vote For Trump

It's telling, IMO, that they are they same ones who are so excited by their extra hundred bucks.

One GOP poster once complained about the "rednecks" in their state of Florida who didn't install storm sewer drains in their development when their house flooded.  Hmmmm, those Florida taxes weren't available to install drains and a pumping station.  Ya get what you pay for.

A philosophical question.....

"Do you vote for the person who gets you what you want?  Or the person who is best for the country?  They are not usually one in the same?

So why did trump and the GOP need to lie to all Americans?  Are you pleased with that?

As I stated earlier, every economic expert has documented why the GOP tax bill targeted large corporations and the wealthy. Trump Cult members will disagree but they're never in touch with reality.

By 2027, more than half of all Americans, 53 percent, would pay more in taxes under the tax bill agreed to by House and Senate Republicans, a tax analysis by the Tax Policy Center finds. That year, 82.8 percent of the bill’s benefit would go to the top 1 percent.

You forget that presenting facts to a trump supporter is useless.

Indeed....

From NPR:

The Republican tax bill, which Congress sent to President Trump on Wednesday, would give most Americans a tax cut next year, according to a new analysis. However, it would by far benefit the richest Americans the most. Meanwhile, many lower- and middle-class Americans would have higher taxes a decade from now ... unless a future Congress extends the cuts.

BUT...

The numbers look bleaker a decade out for most American households. To help ensure their bill met the budget limits Republicans had set for themselves, lawmakers set many individual income tax changes to sunset after 2025 (however, they made cuts to corporate tax rates permanent).

Granted, I have not done my taxes yet. I am hoping not to owe a lot, not particularly expecting a refund. But if many people are complaining now, think about when the middle class cuts expire if they are not extended.

As an alternative to the NPR link, here is the Distributional Analysis of the Conference Agreement for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act from the TPC.

For those that have benefited -- great, that apparently was the purpose; but I find it telling that I have often heard the tax act referred to as a "sugar high" and that once it wore off, people should prepare themselves for 'refund sticker shock'.

It was a fraud then and is a fraud today.  trump lied to Amercans so Repubs could shove their plan down the throats of Americans.  Let's not forget trumps fraudulant claim he was going to cut taxes another 10% for the middle class just last November.  Had he actually did what he claimed in the first place, it wouldn't have been necessary to lie to Americans again in November.

It's as simple as... YES my taxes are lower. I too live in a "no state income tax" state. .. FL and TN. Please... stay in your own high tax state and fix your own problems.

Your effective tax rate is the key. Know what it is.

Tennessee?  Always in the top 25% of states receiving Federal tax dollars.  Please fix your state.

It is amusing to see those posters who claim to be middle of the road here always being extremely partisan.  I agree....LMAO.

Living in a Red State that has never bothered to educate their young is one way to keep your State tax lower, but otherwise you need to be making considerably more than AIG $50,000 to get any break on your Federal taxes, which pretty much moves you out of "Middle Class", so congrats on your success, but the topic is " DID TRUMP LOWER TAXES FOR MIDDLE CLASS ?" and the answer for that is

No!

Same as it was when the question was aksed about Reagan's Tax Scam.

To the contrary, taxes were lowered for the average person.  Not everyone has an AIG of the $50,000 that you have continually been using as an example.  My taxes were several thousand dollars lower this year than in the past and my AGI isn't higher than $50,000 since most is based on retirement income, dividends and interest.

Perhaps you should take a look at the tax tables for tax rates.  And as far as 'Reagan's Tax Scam', how many decades in the past was that...and has nothing to do with today's taxes.

Yes the greatest tax benefit was more for the wealthy and corporations. We agree, but they also pay the most. OK so where did the poor and the middle class benefit?

Are you willing to post that data? You are a "critical thinker"... right? We all know the positive data is real and measurable. Anyone can access it, but not everyone wants to read it or better yet believe it. So is there a 'point" to be made? Yes there is.

Listen...  we both know, and for the most part everyone here on these threads knows, facts don't matter to those who are emotionally invested in resisting, hating, mocking, disrespecting, denying, accusing, any positive accomplisments of president Trump.  So... as a result we wind up with is low IQ resolutions based on cherry picked data.

The lie is always the same and it lives inside a partial truth.

My taxes are lower and I'm in the middle class... apparently your's are not, and that to bad.

I'm proud to be everything liberals hate.
