This seems to be a case of personal preference - where did you find "hatred" and "dung"?
It seems more like an expression of the feelings of the hate-filled left being posted here.

That's a silly assumption on your part. It's also wrong. Does Masterpiece Cakehouse only sell religious-themed cakes? The answer is no. And no one asked for a pornographic cake.

Have an undetermined period of unspecified quality. (thanks, Alferd!)

We are not pushovers and if a gay wants a darn cake, go to another bakery or learn to bake. I get so sick of the nonsense that is being presented these days. Your post is correct that bigotry and bias applies both ways.

Through the years I have been puzzled, not really, that some are militantly insistent that the rights of some override those of others.  There is no way they will compromise that these rights is a two-way street.  In this case the rights of the baker to enjoy his beliefs in business is being suppressed.  He didn't refuse to sell a cake to them, just that he wouldn't use his artistic skills in design.

Note that he has been subject to harrassment to design transgender cakes, along with other things.  And gays, etc claim they are being discriminated against?

Again, going on the "love the sinner, hate the sin" premise, is refusing to serve someone perceived to be a "sinner" a loving gesture? Since we're all supposed to be sinners anyhow, then the cake baker should just go ahead and close up shop. Otherwise, his store is nothing more than a front for his hatred, bigotry and hypocrisy.

You are the only one who has said anything about anyone being a sinner.  The baker is doing more than selling cakes, he is selling his artistic and design skills.  As indicated there are other bakeries selling cakes.  According to your thinking a person could walk into a bookstore selling Christian books and literature and demand they sell them pornographic books.

The bigotry comes from those who are using the government to persecute a religious person because of their beliefs.  Even though the baker is engaged in business, he still retains the right to the first amendment rights of freedom or religion and the exercise thereof.  Especially since he is not refusing to sell any cake to this couple.

Other than that, you are as welcome to your beliefs as long as you respect my right to mine.

Have a good day.

Perhaps some are neglecting to look at it from the baker's point of view? If the baker had gone along with the couple he would have been violating his religious beliefs; to have done so would have been condoning the couple's actions. You post: "Republicans never pass up a chance to display and cheer their hatred of anyone who isn't exactly like themselves". Have you considered that liberals apparently do the same? Bigotry and bias applies there also, works both ways........@Tex..................I like this reply. Very funny....not.  Where do you get the hate part?   From what we see mostly is ridicule against a person having religious beliefs.  Your post is an indication of that.   Again bigotry applies both ways as we see here.

You know, I had not thought of that.  I suspect the bakers will find themselves in front of ovens for all eternity but not the cake baking kind.
