Re: Charges against McCabe
It looks like the grand jury decided not to indict McCabe. Is anyone outside the Cult surprised? Lol
If the Andrew McCabe grand jury refused to indict, it’s a big deal
Lawyers for former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe have written to prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia asking whether the grand jury that was investigating McCabe declined to issue an indictment. If it did, it’s a very big deal. And, if McCabe ultimately ends up being indicted anyway, it will further fuel suspicions that politics may be infecting the decisions of President Trump’s Justice Department.
Grand jury proceedings are secret, so we can’t know for certain what happened. It is possible that grand jurors returned an indictment under seal, but because the investigation is already public, there would be no obvious reason to do so. They could have simply adjourned to return and finish their work another day, though it seems likely their investigative work is complete.
But if they did vote not to indict — returning what is called a “no true bill” — it would be a remarkable development, and a remarkable rebuke to prosecutors.

If he broke the law ( and it appears he did) surely you and all Americans that believe in our legal system would insist on equal application of the law, right?

Everywhere. Who cares who made the appointment. This is all due to Trump telling his lackeys he wants McCabe tried and sent to jail period. No charges have been filed nor will the JD tell anyone what is going on. They recalled a Grand Jury which held a session this week and nothing. There are demands to the JD . what did the Grand Jury do. Did they refuse to indite. No answer so time will tell. All experts say weak case if any case at all, and we will see if he is charged and tried. No one is guilty until convicted.
This is the first try by Dictator Trump to put people in jail who disagree with him, and he feels are his enemies. If he succeeds at this their will be many more and in time a lot of his supporters will he hitting the camps as he does not need them, and he really loathes them. Hitler did the same thing. In one night he wiped out a lot of his supporters by killing or imprisoning them. Trump owns the JD and they do what he tells them not what the law says and that should scare every true American.

Re: Charges against McCabe
@jimc91 wrote:Chief counsel at the American Center for Law & Justice Jay Sekulow stopped by ‘Hannity’ Thursday to discuss Andrew McCabe’s potential legal troubles; saying his perjury probe is “just the beginning” for former DOJ officials.
“I think his lawyers made an attempt to get the case killed, obviously the US attorney thought there was a case that should be brought… The US attorney can now proceed with bringing a case, it will go to the grand jury,” said Sekulow.
“It’s not just one count with McCabe, it’s at least three according to the report. It’s perjury, that’s what this allegation is. I want to be clear, I think this is just the beginning of the problem for the individuals that were running the Department of Justice,” he added.
US Attorney Jessie Liu officially recommended proceeding with charges against former FBI official Andrew McCabe Thursday afternoon over his handling of sensitive material during Hillary’s email investigation.
“U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official,” reports Fox News.
“McCabe — the former deputy and acting director of the FBI — appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but the department rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.”
“The potential charges relate to DOJ inspector general findings against him regarding misleading statements concerning a Hillary Clinton-related investigation,” adds Fox.
“A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, ‘The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office.’”
McCabe was recently hired as a commentator for CNN.
You have posted this before under a slightly different form, and I gave you an answer, but you keep trying to go back to the beginning. You use Jay and his crew as a source. Jay is Trumps attorney so he is pushing what Trump wants, and Trump wants McCabe tried and jailed by his own say so, and something like a court trial is not needed. Trump wants all to know never buck the Dictator. Look at it this way. It is like the Reb. cancelling all primary elections since Trump has said he will be their candiate again. Hitler and all Dicators do this.

Re: Charges against McCabe
Well if you were watching TV this evening you saw and heard quite a bit on this subject. One thing all agreed on this is Dictator Trump at work trying to take out someone he thinks did him harm, and wants them tried and convicted then sent to jail. He has told his lackeys that. 2 of the Fed. lawyers working the case have quit. The grand jury who heard he case about close to a year ago and did nothing was called back after being out of session (this was done to avoid starting over with a new GJ.) and as far as anyone can tell did nothing at its session. Some of the govt. witness seem to back up what McCabe said. So far no charges, but do not fall over if there are. What you are seeing here is a Dictator making the first attempt to go past the chanting and have his lackeys put someone he sees as a threat in jail. If Trump wins on this you will see a lot more as he will have total control of the courts on the outcomes of trials, and that should terrify all. His supporters better worry because quite a few of them will end up in this web. Just look at what Hitler did in Germany, and the Dictator in Iraq did. Go look at the session in Iraq the dictator called of his key people then had a lot taken away and killed for not being loyal enough to him. Dictators seem to be alike on things like this.

Re: Charges against McCabe
,jimc91C = 2016 story titled “FBI in Internal Feud Over Hillary Clinton Probe.” The story -- written just days before the presidential election – focused on the FBI announcing the reopening of the Clinton investigation after finding thousands of her emails on a laptop
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
OMG ---Jim....there comes a point when you get tired of saying the same thing over and over. E_MAILs "They are available to read" "She did not break any laws." SHE DID NOT LIE ---from day ONE she kept SAYING PLEASE PLEASE --PLEASE ---- REVEAL THE E=MAILS TO THE PUBLIC !!!! Duh 1! "No our enemies did not hack into her private server and take anything.".. But the Govt computers were hacked...hundreds of them.
Further just to mention ONE republican ---COLIN POWELL ADMITTED to using a laptop on his knees and hundreds of GOVT employees were e-mailing everyone back and forth..... GOING TO ARREST ENTIRE GOVT EMPLOYEES ? This is how STUPID it gets and only republicans have the kind of minds that are warped.
