This is not a difficult concept folks, It takes both parties to be engaged in the issue at hand in order to find a suitable resolution.

I am thankful we have a President that is forcing the issues of Border Security and common sense Immigration Policy onto the main stage.  The American People want both.

Where is Chuck and Nancy versions 2009?

You are looking for the wrong people. It is not Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi who are causing the shutdown it is Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. Mitch because he has refused to even hold a vote on the bill passed by the House. Donnie because he he cannot be trusted to follow through on anything he agrees to in negotiations.

Why aren’t you demanding that McConnell and Paul return for negotiations?

We are now in the 8th day of a ridiculous government shutdown. Has anyone considered calling Ann Coulter or the Great Rushbo to see what they exactly want from this Shutdown. The President in name only needs guidance because he can’t make up his mind on anything he does. The great negotiator, come on you gotta be kidding he couldn’t negotiate the sale for a used car.
When will the Congress stand up to this wannabe and tell him what the facts of life are?
Please put the 800,000 workers back to work and end this madness my IRA is suffering

Blaming Pelosi for the Shutdown

1. Trump said he will proudly shutdown the government over a border wall. However, in Trump world, that never happened.,

2. Trump is breaking his campaign promise to have Mexico (not Americans) pay for 100% of the wall.

3. Pelosi is a minority member of the House which overwhelmingly passed a bill supporting Trump's stupid border wall. His problem is the Senate, not the House, where Pelosi works.

4. Never use facts, as in #3 above, they thoroughly confuse Trump Cult members.

5.. Most experts agree that a border wall is the least effective way to curb illegal immigration

Finally, in Trump World and Fox World, they never hold Trump accountable or responsiible for anything negative. They instead resort to finding a villain, whom they demonize and attack 24/7. Their phony villain in this issue is obviously Pelosi, who works in the House, where they passed Trump's bill.

Intelligent people know who's responsible for the government shutdown.

Of course all fair and objective people understand that Trump took full responsibility for the shutdown, but they can't admit it.

IMHO the fair and objective DO admit it - it's the Trumpettes who know their leader has yet to tell the truth, so what he said has no relivance for them, but what he DOES matters - harm Federal workers who are more qualified and have better jobs than the vast mass of trumpeans and are therefore objects of hate filled envy by the GOPer base. So long as the Orange Toad keeps hurting people his base hates, they will support and believe him.
