I think Joe Biden's team is probably regretting that they let him out of the basement.

At one point in the video Biden says "Look at my record." Immediately Biden critics jump on his record and the now famous Crime Bill with its mass incarceration.

Many young African Americans were locked up for drugs while Biden's own son received different treatment with his drug problems. Instead of being incarcerated, his son Hunter landed jobs on corporate boards.

But, I don't think "You ain't black" is going to hurt Biden much in the long run.

Right now there's a hashtag trending on Twitter #You Ain't Black. There are many angry African Americans posting there.

#YouAin'tBlack...Twitter...

https://mobile.twitter.com/hashtag/YouAintBlack?src=hashtag_click

I beleive "You ain't Black" will quickly blow over.

The media will give Biden a pass and every major professional black organization will come to his defense.

Will it hurt Biden at all?

A little.

The overwhelmingly majority of African Americans will vote for Biden as they did for Hillary. The question is 'Who shows up"? That was the problem for Hillary Clinton. Remember, the largest voting block in our country is the "non-voter" and this could cause a lot of "young black voters" to stay home.

If Biden chooses Kamala Harris or some other African American as his VP, he will win over most of those voters. They'll show up at the polls. Yes, identity politics.

The dilemma for Biden's campaign strategists is when you try to win over one group, you lose voters in other groups. They have to crunch the numbers then decide which direction they want to go.

Trump's campaign is doing the same thing.

Immediately after the "You ain't black" blunder by Joe Biden, the Trump campaign put out a campaign ad.

Since the election could be close, any gains Trump makes in the black community, even if he gets them to stay home, could be the tipping point in the election.

See, that's what i mean about the differences in the way we/ya'll see things.  I saw it as about biden, not the black community.  And i see this initial post as about bidens comment on the interview, nobody else.

But then, maybe i'm not part of that "far right" group of people you refer to...🤔

All Trump followers see things as Trump tells them to and that is why they have vision problems. Hitlers followers saw things as Trump followers do. What ever the leader says. Hitlers followers got a rude awakening during WW2 when for the first time they saw what Hitler was really like and Germany was being destroyed. The same awakening will take place with the Trump followers unless they are rescued in Nov. by thinking people taking Trump out of office in the election.

Oh LORD, how many times has The Donald called almost everyone names, or made nasty remarks.  He is even nasty with name-calling of people in the Government if they make his orange face mad.

I have never heard any President say so many nasty things about so many people, black white in-between. He is so Undignified and sounds so uneducated the way he talks. I think one nasty remark or hope won't hurt Biden.

How many nasty remarks have NOT hurt The Donald?

Joe Biden: "I marched during the Civil Rights movement." (No, he never did.)

Joe Biden: "I was arrested in South Africa." (No, he never was.)

Joe Biden: "The NAACP endorsed me every time I ran." (No, they never did.)

Does anyone see a pattern here?

Well, what’s really funny is why would anyone would vote for trump!
Biden will fix his problem, trump will never apologize or fix anything, and proves that every single day.

And isn’t it interesting that trump and his supporters making claims of others suffering from mental illness...projecting once again they are!

There are many reasons to vote for Joe Biden, but this isn't the appropriate thread to list them. However, a blindly loyal Trump supporter wants to attack Biden on the issue of race, but calls it hijacking, when someone describes Trump's comments on race.

Talking about Hijacking, the author of this thread uploaded a post to his own thread earlier, in which he never mentioned Joe Biden. Hypocrisy? Here's what he wrote.

"After three years with Trump as our President we are still learning about the effects of a mental illness commonly referred to as TDS.  Apparently, when it evolves into deep hatred for another human being it can cause many dangerous side effects for the person afflicted.  We have seen some people develop delusions and they are convinced they literally have the ability to read other peoples minds and know what another person is thinking.  It's really a serious condition!  The good news is that it can be treated by mental healthcare professionals available almost everywhere"

Too Funny!

The head Biden cheerleader doesn’t want to talk about or defend Joe Biden but wants to hijack this thread in order to bash Trump...  Let that sink in a minute.

A perfect opportunity to preach about why anyone should vote for Biden, squandered... Again!

Thats just Funny!

'Laziness is a trait in blacks'

As Politico reports, this head-slapper came from "Trumped!" a 1991 memoir published by John R. O'Donnell, the former president of Trump Hotel & Casino.

“I have black guys counting my money. … I hate it,” O'Donnell wrote of that notorious conversation. “The only guys I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes all day.” According to O'Donnell, Trump went on to argue that "Laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that.”
