Ok, to make it simple,  I was suggesting that he go to a hunting site and convince them to give up rifles they are comfortable with.  Shouldn't be hard to understand considering the discussion we were in.  Are you attempting to turn this into an argument?

To be clear, unless a hunter does not care about the meat from a kill, an AR-15 style weapon is useless.  It is only used because the "Hunter" does not want to buy a hunting rifle so he is making do.  The only time such a weapon is handy is if the deer, probably wounded, is headed for a property for which you do no have permission to hunt. Then you can bring it down with 8-10 rounds before it crosses over. Pretty odd circumstances.

Thanks for the update......LOL!

To make it even MORE simple, he doesn't NEED to do anything one poster suggested.  If they are simply "law-abiding gun owners" as some suggest, just change the law and they'll be running in to turn in their weapons of war.

Of course there is nothing to argue about here.....but some prefer to argue the color of the sky or if Alabama was ever in danger from Hurricane Dorian.

My comments was about responsible firearm owners using their guns for hunting or marksmanship target shooting; not that one individual, among the millions of responsible owners, who carries out these mass shootings. You want to punish these responsible owners for the actions of the few.

It is not the instrument that is nefarious, but the person behind the trigger.  Why is he/she not the one who is being addressed?  It is about time that the shooter not being given the notoriety they want?  Look at how New Zealand handled the mass shooting there by the shooter not being given the publicity.
